FECINEU opens its registrations for the 2019 official competition, which in its fourth edition is renewed and presents its categories:

- Free Category (Short film)

- Patagonian Category

- Category Indigenous Peoples

- Category VIDEOCLIP

- LGTBI +

- Best Script, Director, Actor / Actress, Photography and Original Music.

The Independent International Film Festival of Neuquén -FECINEU- has as main objective to disseminate Latin American Film Productions and as a general objective to establish a link between the filmmakers and the public, being an International Cinematographic meeting point.

FECINEU is committed to the distribution and public education of Independent Cinema in Patagonia and in Latin America in general; for what has been proposed in this 2018 launch the FECINEU International Circuit, which aims to break the boundaries of the Festival, organizing screenings in different cities of the continent such as Barranquilla (Colombia), Villa El Chocón (Argentina) and soon Bogota and many more.
