The London International Film Festival(LIFF), now in its sixth year, is a showcase for the best filmmakers in the world. With a fair and impartial panel of judges, we give every filmmaker around the world the opportunity to showcase their talent. We are an online film festival, art cannot be measured by distance, so even on opposite sides of the world, we can get a chance to communicate. We all love movies and enjoy the comfort of immersing ourselves in art. Sometimes the source of inspiration is social, and the recombination of different ideas is bound to be a surprise.

LIFF is an International Film event and we welcome submissions from a range of genres including short films, documentaries, features, animations and screenplays. LIFF's mission is not only to collect outstanding films from all over the world in different genres, but also to promote these outstanding films and inspire filmmakers to create even better works.

The festival is held online once a year. If your film has been shortlisted, we will contact you one month in advance. The winner will be announced at our festival.

Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories separately

By submitting your film,take note that:
All films must be in English or have English subtitles
The London International Film Festival reserves the right, at any time, without notice and without limiting any and all other rights we may have under these Rules & Regulations, at law or in equity, to remove and delete your entry to the festival.
Submissions must be an original work of the applicant’s team and not based, in whole or part, on another author’s work (unless underlying material is in public domain)
By submitting your film, you allow London International Film Festival to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster/stills) for promotional purpose.
A short synopsis and digital still photo is required for all scripts and all entries (except music videos) for the jury, and for our website announcements should you win.
Winning categories vary every month depending on the submissions we receive. Please select the right category while submitting to avoid disqualification.
Entry does not guarantee acceptance into the festival.
No premiere status is required
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the London International Film Fesitival, its management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc. from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

Amateur videos
submit any content that is libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or abusive
Rough cuts and incomplete projects
Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD
