FeCHA is Festival de Cine Hispanófono de Atenas and was first organized in 2016 with great success.

The festival focuses on screening current Spanish- speaking films from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Colombia, etc. showcasing the rich cinematic wealth of these countries.

The festival, since June 2016, has attracted more than 20.000 audience members. Multi-awarded films from Spain and Latin America premiere at the festival. With its sold- out screenings and a diverse programme Athens has shown its love for Spanish speaking culture and cinema.

The festival also features:

-cortoFeCHA, a screening of a collection of Spanish speaking short films from Spain and Latin America, which are screened with free entry to the public.

The Wawas al Cine Children’s and Youth Film Festival is a cultural and educational initiative that promotes inclusive access to cinema as a tool for learning, reflection, and the holistic development of children, adolescents, and young people, particularly those in vulnerable situations. Her Moves: Mini Festival (3rd edition) is an open call for skateboarding films created by or focused on women and non-binary skaters.

All submissions must be about skateboarding. We welcome documentary, narrative, and experimental formats.

The festival is committed to inclusion and particularly encourages submissions from emerging filmmakers and skaters, including those from neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ communities (though submissions are open to all creators aligned with the festival’s values).

All festival activities are hosted by women and non-binary people and include screenings and an accompanying art exhibition as well as DJ sets.

The Pijao Film Showcase is a space for film exhibition and cinematic exchange held in the municipality of Pijao, in the southern part of the department of Quindío, with the aim of strengthening access to cinema and audiovisual culture in a region that, for more than twenty years, lacked a functioning movie theater and a permanent film program.

The Territorio Sacromonte International Audiovisual Festival takes place in the city of Granada (Andalusia) in the emblematic Sacromonte neighborhood in front of the Alhambra monument. Le Festival Images & Lumières, Le FIL, is a cultural event developed by the JS Festival association, which has also organized the Les Affolantes festival in Melun Val de Seine for the past 10 years.

This festival aims to introduce live-action short films and animated films to a wide audience. Screenings take place in cinemas as well as outdoors, offering a diverse experience. In addition to films, the FIL also features video mapping, VJing, and live drawing performances, enriching the visual and cultural experience for viewers.

Participate in the festival with your audiovisual piece. Create a video in the format of TikTok, a reel, a YouTube shot with a free theme but including some kind of reference to retro audiovisual culture (movies, songs, culture from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s).

The deadline for submitting entries to the competition is February 2, 2026.
