CIMA Impulsa announces its 6th edition to support feature film and series projects written by women screenwriters—emerging or experienced—based in Spain or Latin America with audiovisual training or background. Eligible formats include fiction, documentary, and animation, in either feature-length or series form. Applications open on May 14 and close on May 28, 2025, via an online form requiring a synopsis, project dossier, script, CVs, and proof of registration. A specialized committee will select up to 16 projects, which will receive one-on-one mentoring, masterclasses, and pitching training from July 2025 through May 2026, culminating in a public showcase before industry professionals.

The EICTV Screenwriting Chair announces the 4th Audiovisual Screenwriting Residency, running from September 8 to December 5, 2025, in Havana. Five original feature‑film projects in development (Spanish or Portuguese) will be selected. Open to screenwriters and audiovisual professionals with prior experience, it comprises 13 weeks of intensive training: dramaturgy, structure, treatment, outline, scene writing, rewriting and tutor guidance. Application deadline: May 23, 2025; results on June 17. Required materials: CV, portfolio, synopsis, personal short story and application form (send to maestriaguion@gmail.com). Fee: €5,000.
