The Huesca International Film Festival Pitching is a platform designed to support emerging filmmakers in developing their short film projects. It welcomes various genres, including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental films, and music videos, aiming to connect creators with producers interested in fostering new talent.

Selected projects present their ideas in a live ten-minute pitching session, followed by a Q&A. Participation can be in-person or online, and invited filmmakers receive a diploma, as well as one night of lodging and a meal if attending in person.

The call is open to projects in development or text form, regardless of the filmmaker’s nationality. Required materials include a synopsis, team CV, and the script or treatment. The submission deadline for the 2026 edition was March 19, 2026, and the pitching session will take place on June 11, 2026, in Huesca, Spain. This event is a key opportunity for young filmmakers seeking visibility and professional support within the short film industry.
