The Coral Post-Production Award of the 2026 Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is an audiovisual industry call aimed at Latin American and Caribbean projects in the post-production stage. CORAL AWARD FOR POSTPRODUCTION - LA HABANA
The pitch call for short films in postproduction at Curt Creixent 2025 is open to filmmakers born or registered in the Valencian Community, or with production companies based there. Projects must be in postproduction, with a final runtime not exceeding 40 minutes. Up to four short films will be selected to present in a professional pitch session during Curt Creixent, held from June 23 to 25, 2025, in Valencia. Selected projects will receive feedback from a panel of experts and participate in a preparatory training workshop. Additionally, the winning short film will be acquired by the Institut Valencià de Cultura for exhibition in various venues, with a special focus on non-commercial public screenings after its festival run. Registration is free and must be completed by May 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Required materials include a link to the rough cut of the short film, a project dossier with relevant information, and promotional materials.

Curt Creixent - Postproduction
The Film Poster Competition of the 47th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana invites submissions of posters related to Latin American cinema, including film posters, film week promotions, and festival posters. The call is open to international participants and aims to recognize creativity and artistic excellence in cinematic graphic design.
Applications are open until August 15, 2026. Selected works will be presented during the Festival, which will take place from December 3 to 13, 2026, in Havana, Cuba. FILM POSTER COMPETITION – LA HABANA
The Inspired Screenwriting Competition is more than just a contest; it’s an experience designed to help screenwriters discover their authentic voice. Through their course “Finding Your Voice As A Screenwriter,” participants explore techniques to deeply connect with their creativity and develop original stories that reflect their unique perspective. They also offer workshops and guided meditations to help overcome creative blocks and encourage a more mindful, fluid writing process.
This holistic approach combines technical learning with personal growth, supporting writers to develop not only their scripts but also their confidence and distinctive style within the film industry.

The Inspired Screenwriting Competition
The Spanish Film Academy opens applications for the 2025-2026 Residency Program, aimed at filmmakers developing audiovisual projects with a strong connection to Madrid.
A total of 20 projects will be selected, providing financial support, personalized mentorship from industry professionals, and a dedicated workspace at the Academy’s headquarters. Participants will also have access to training sessions and networking events organized by the Academy and Madrid City Council.
The program lasts nine months (from October 2025 to June 2026) and is open to both Spanish and international creators.
