All women filmmakers from Central America and the Caribbean with their first or second film in the early stages of development, whether fiction, animation, or documentary, are eligible to apply. Cuban applicants may reside either inside or outside the island.
This is an inclusive residency, and we want our trans women to also find their space at La Burbuja_Lab. It is not mandatory for the production team to be composed exclusively of women.

The Bubble Lab
Rough Shorts is a category of the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM) that offers an editing lab for short films. In the 2025 edition, BAM reaffirms its commitment to short films and to Colombian producers and directors, inviting them to participate in this lab focused on reviewing narrative construction through editing.
