The 11th edition of Producers Meet Producers (PMP) will take place on October 14, 2025, in Sitges. Organized by Productors Audiovisuals de Catalunya (PAC), the event aims to foster collaboration between emerging producers and established audiovisual professionals.
Applications are open until June 20, 2025. Each company may submit up to three projects. Selected participants will be notified by the end of July 2025.
To apply, producers must submit a production dossier in PDF format (max. 10 pages), including: project image, company logo and contact, technical sheet, synopsis, producer’s track record and biofilmography, statement of intent, and a brief explanation of why the producer is considered emerging. An optional video pitch may also be included.
Projects in Catalan original version or from producers with a fiscal base in Catalonia must include a signed Declaration of Responsibility.

Producers Meet Producers (PMP)
The 4th Girls Just Wanna Have FAN call is part of Sitges Festival’s WomanInFan program, aimed at female filmmakers developing fantastic genre projects. It seeks to promote visibility and support for women in the industry through the creation of a short teaser showcasing a fantastic feature film project.
Ten finalists and one winner will be selected. The winner receives €10,000 to produce the short, production support, industry accreditation, project presentation opportunities, and accommodation during the Sitges FanPitch.
Requirements include that both the feature and short are directed by women, the script must be up to 10 pages, the project must be fantastic fiction, and submission of a dossier, pitch video, and budget proposal is necessary. The call opens on March 10, 2025, and closes June 30, 2025.
This initiative fosters creation, visibility, and professional growth of women in fantastic cinema.

Girls just wanna have FAN - SITGES
The Lau Haizetara Documentary Coproduction Forum 2025 will take place from September 22 to 24 during the 73rd San Sebastián Film Festival. It provides a platform for independent producers to present documentary projects seeking European coproduction and funding. The event includes workshops on September 22-23 for selected participants to improve their project pitches, followed by public pitching on September 24 where projects compete for prizes, including a €5,000 award. There are also individual meetings with potential financiers and industry experts. Registration is open until June 27, 2025, with a fee of €250 (+ VAT), reduced to €150 (+ VAT) for EPE-IBAIA members. Applications must be submitted in English and Spanish. Additional prizes include consultancy and selection opportunities at major documentary festivals. The forum is organized by EPE-IBAIA in collaboration with the San Sebastián Festival.

SSIFF - Lau Haizetara
The 48 takes place on different weekends in different cities throughout the year. In each city local Film Teams—from beginners to pro's--compete to make a short film in only a weekend! Do you and your friends have what it takes to make a film on the fly?
It all begins with the Friday night Kickoff event when you and teams in your city draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for your film.
Then it is off to the races—writing, shooting and editing and doing whatever it takes to submit your short film on Sunday night.
The big payoff is seeing your masterpiece in the big screen at a local theater. Every film, both on-time and late, will screen. There is nothing better than seeing your film with an audience and seeing firsthand how they react to your movie.
At the city awards event, the winning films—as determined by local judges—are announced. More than a dozen awards are given—from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film.

The 48 Hour Film Project
