El Foro de Coproducción de Documentales Lau Haizetara 2025 se celebrará del 22 al 24 de septiembre en el marco del 73º Festival de Cine de San Sebastián. Ofrece una plataforma para que productores independientes presenten proyectos documentales en busca de coproducción europea y financiación. El evento incluye talleres los días 22 y 23 para mejorar los pitches, y el 24 se realizará la presentación pública de proyectos, con premios, entre ellos uno de 5.000 €. También se organizan reuniones individuales con posibles financiadores y expertos. La inscripción está abierta hasta el 27 de junio de 2025, con una cuota de 250 € (+ IVA), reducida a 150 € (+ IVA) para miembros de EPE-IBAIA. Las inscripciones deben ser en inglés y español. Hay premios adicionales que incluyen consultorías y selecciones para festivales importantes. El foro está organizado por EPE-IBAIA en colaboración con el Festival de San Sebastián.

The 48 takes place on different weekends in different cities throughout the year. In each city local Film Teams—from beginners to pro's--compete to make a short film in only a weekend! Do you and your friends have what it takes to make a film on the fly?
It all begins with the Friday night Kickoff event when you and teams in your city draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for your film.
Then it is off to the races—writing, shooting and editing and doing whatever it takes to submit your short film on Sunday night.
The big payoff is seeing your masterpiece in the big screen at a local theater. Every film, both on-time and late, will screen. There is nothing better than seeing your film with an audience and seeing firsthand how they react to your movie.
At the city awards event, the winning films—as determined by local judges—are announced. More than a dozen awards are given—from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film.

MAFF es un espacio diseñado para fomentar el crecimiento artístico, financiero y de innovación, así como para aumentar la visibilidad de los proyectos. Nuestro objetivo es generar una red sólida de contactos que amplíe las posibilidades de financiación y promover un entorno de comunicación efectiva que facilite el diálogo entre productoras, productores y profesionales de la industria audiovisual a nivel global.

Starting from 2003, Open Doors has been championing filmmaking from regions where independent cinema is especially challenging, building bridges for collaboration across regions, countries and continents. Through Open Doors' public and professional programs, we aim to provide a space where talents find support in every step of their creative and professional journey and where discussion and reinvention of today’s cinema can happen among free voices.
The ultimate goal of the Open Doors is to contribute to the development of a more collaborative worldwide film community without borders, while making the independent scene stronger and more sustainable.

Locarno Open Doors
Convocatoria JIIFF Lab: abierta a duplas director–productor iberoamericanas con un largometraje de ficción en desarrollo avanzado. Se pide formulario online, CV y fotos de la dupla, sinopsis, tratamiento, presupuesto detallado y plan de financiamiento, ficha técnica y notas de dirección/producción. Se seleccionarán 8 proyectos, con viaje y alojamiento incluidos, tutorías profesionales y posibilidad de optar al Fondo Pfeffer del Sur (US$ 50 000).
