Entrants must submit three versions of their script (first draft, second draft, and final version) combined into a single PDF file. The submission window for the 2025 edition ran from May 19 to August 1. The awards ceremony is held in November in Madrid, where winners are announced.

The jury features acclaimed film and TV professionals such as Marta Etura, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Ernesto Alterio. Several prizes are awarded, including five special mentions. The competition aims to spotlight innovative screenplays with cinematic vision and strong production potential.

The call is launched through local or national entities, which manage registration and participant selection. Selected participants join networking activities, presentations, and meetings during the festival. Applications typically require submitting a project technical sheet, dossier, CV, and motivation letter by the established deadline.
