CONECTA 2025 is an international documentary industry meeting organized by CCDoc (Chilean Documentary Corporation). Its 10th edition will take place from December 9 to 12, 2025, in a hybrid format combining onsite and online activities. Applications are open until July 28, 2025 at 23:59 (Santiago time, GMT‑4) and are aimed at Latin American projects or co‑productions with the region.

Main sections include: CONECTADOS, for feature documentaries in development or production; CONECTA WITH DISTRIBUTION, for films in editing, postproduction, or recently completed but unreleased; PITCH THE WHICKERS, for first features in development with onsite participation; and DOCS IN PROGRESS FIDOCS + CONECTA, for advanced editing projects receiving mentoring and prizes.

he ABCGuionistas Short Screenplay International Contest opens its eighth edition with the collaboration of Altamedia Studios, Instituto del Cine Madrid (Madrid Film Institute), in addition to the brands Marca de Autor and Un Verano de Guion.

The contest has the purpose of promoting the creation of short screenplays in Spanish and the visibility of their authors. It is opened for novel and professional screenwriters of any country seeking to show their storytelling talent, winning exposure and getting rewarded for writing.

The CASA CINE 2026 writing residency is aimed at screenwriters and filmmakers working on their first or second feature film. The program is open internationally, welcoming participants from all nationalities, and focuses on fiction, creative documentary, or animation projects.

Applications for screenwriters and writer-directors are open from November 3 to December 3, 2025, while film score composers can apply from January 15 to February 15, 2026. The residency will take place from May 6 to 29, 2026, at the Château de la Napoule in France, coinciding with the Cannes Film Festival.

Applications for composers are open from January 15 to February 15, 2026. The residency will take place from May 6 to 29, 2026 at the Château de la Napoule in France, coinciding with the Cannes Film Festival.
