The Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) has opened registrations for its "Laboratorio de Imágenes" (Image Laboratory), organized by its FICCI Academy. This event will take place from April 2 to 5, 2025. Registrations are open from February 26 to March 11, 2025.
The Laboratorio de Imágenes is presented as a space dedicated to the exploration of ideas and narratives, with the goal of strengthening independent cinema and projecting the future of Ibero-American cinema. The Cinefilia Corporation invites national and foreign scriptwriters to participate in the 10th International Script Laboratory 2022 - LabGuion, which will take place IN PERSON, at the Hotel Spa Santa Fe Colonial, in the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia (54 km from the city of Medellín), in two cohorts.

SCRIPT LAB - CINEFILIA
PÖFF Goes to Cannes is calling for international film projects in post-production, specifically full-length fiction films with English subtitles. Eligible projects will be showcased at the Marché du Film in Cannes on May 16, 2025. The deadline for submissions is March 14, 2025. Priority will be given to films previously presented at Industry@Tallinn events. The focus is on fostering connections between the international film industry and Cannes.

Cine Qua Non Lab's Script Revision Lab is an international workshop for independent filmmakers developing narrative feature screenplays. The program provides an intensive, collaborative environment to advance film projects in late-stage development. It includes a two-week residential workshop and a two-day online follow-up session. Participants receive personalized feedback from experienced professionals, along with group discussions and peer input. The lab promotes creative and professional exchange among international filmmakers, fostering a global network of storytellers. It focuses on both enhancing script quality and strengthening the writer’s unique voice. Conducted in English, the lab is open to applicants worldwide. Selected participants join an active artistic community with ongoing access to Cine Qua Non Lab’s global network.

The Stockfish Film & Industry Festival 2025 will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland, from April 3 to 13, 2025. This festival is a major platform for independent and international filmmakers, featuring screenings, masterclasses, networking sessions, and discussions on industry trends.
