The Sitges FanPitch Catalunya Imaginària call aims to promote feature films and series in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and horror in the Catalan language. Participants must submit a script in Catalan, a dossier in English, a 3-minute video pitch in English or subtitled, and a poster proposal. The winning project will receive €2,500 for development and a residency at the Feratum Festival (Mexico). All selected projects get accreditation for industry activities and access to screenings. Registration is open until June 30, 2025, costing €50 (until May 31) or €60 (extended deadline). The selected project will be announced on September 9, 2025, and the festival runs from October 9 to 19, 2025. This call encourages audiovisual creation in Catalan and connects creators with international fantasy film professionals.

Catalunya Imaginària - SITGES
The program called “IsLABentura Canarias, Script Laboratory” is an initiative of the Department of Universities, Science and Innovation and Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands, which is managed through the Canary Islands Film unit of the public entity Canarian Institute of Cultural Development , S.A., which will act as the competent body in the processing of this call and the Executive CEO of the Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural, S.A. as the head of the competent body.
The objective of the Laboratory is the tutoring of selected participants in the creation of feature film scripts and television series based on stories and/or locations in the Canary Islands over six months by professionals of recognized prestige and extensive experience in training, consulting and script writing.

isLABentura Screenwriting Laboratory
The One to One event is a collaboration between EDAV and the SGAE Foundation, aimed at supporting Valencian screenwriters and producers. The 2025 edition will be held on June 26, with a call for projects open from March 3 to 30. Selected projects will be in the early development stages of fiction, with 12 projects chosen across two categories: cinema and television. Participants will receive mentoring and preparation for pitching their projects to producers. The event provides a unique opportunity for networking and exposure, with selected projects receiving access to Filmarket Hub's online market.

One to One
The Creepy Van Films – Macabro FICH Screenwriting Contest invites Mexican screenwriters (or those residing in Mexico) aged 18 and over to submit original screenplays in the genres of horror, terror, fantasy, and science fiction. The winning screenplay will be produced by Creepy Van Films. The contest is part of the Macabro International Horror Film Festival, Mexico's oldest and largest horror festival.
