The SANFIC ODS LAB 2025 invites filmmakers, producers, and screenwriters from Ibero-America to submit audiovisual projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, in advanced stages of development. The third edition of the lab will take place online from August 17-22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industria. The event is co-financed by the Audiovisual Fund, a support program for international meetings in Chile.
The lab offers two main awards:
PAMPA 2030: Monitoring for two projects on SDG-related topics.
RED TAL Award: Provides two follow-ups for project development in collaboration with public and cultural TV networks in Latin America.

ODS Lab - Sanfic
The CREATION 2025 Call by the Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) aims to support creators in research and creation processes leading to the future production of works in the fields of performing arts, music, literature, comics and illustration, visual arts, and audiovisual in the Balearic Islands.
It is open to individuals over 18 years old who carry out their professional activity in these sectors and are natives of or professionally active in the Balearic Islands.
The total budget for the call is €490,000, distributed over two fiscal years: €49,000 in 2025 and €441,000 in 2026.

Grants for Artistic Creation in the Balearic Islands
Curta Roteiros – 1er Concurso de Guiones de Cortometrajes busca premiar guiones inéditos escritos en portugués y pensados para el cine independiente. Pueden participar escritores profesionales o aficionados de cualquier país, siempre que el guion no haya sido producido, publicado, ni escrito en coautoría o con ayuda de inteligencia artificial.
Las inscripciones estarán abiertas del 5 de junio al 5 de julio de 2025, mediante formulario (30 BRL) o Festhome (8 USD). El guion debe tener un máximo de 30 páginas, estar en formato PDF, fuente Courier New 12, e incluir portada.
Los criterios de evaluación incluyen: originalidad, estructura, coherencia, personajes, escritura, viabilidad técnica e impacto emocional/social. Se anunciarán finalistas el 25 de julio y ganadores el 1 de agosto durante el festival Curta Cine Sumaré.
Los premios incluyen certificados, laureles y montos simbólicos (120, 50 y 30 reales) entregados vía PIX. Se pueden otorgar menciones honoríficas.

Curta Roteiros - Concurso de Guiones para Cortometrajes
Polish Days is the key industry event of the New Horizons International Film Festival, held in Wrocław, Poland, from July 17 to 27, 2025. Polish Days is expected to take place mid-festival, likely between July 20–22 (dates TBC).
The call is open to Polish film projects in three categories: completed films, works in progress, and projects in development. Selected participants benefit from private screenings, pitching sessions, and one-on-one meetings with international sales agents, distributors, and festival programmers.
Industry accreditations opened on May 6, 2025, and close on June 17, 2025, or earlier if capacity is reached. Project submissions typically close between May and early June, depending on the category.

CIBEF - International Residency in Film Directing
D’A Film Lab Barcelona is an industry laboratory designed to support emerging talent in feature films by facilitating their development, completion, and international exposure, with a focus on Spanish works. The call for entries for the edition taking place from March 22 to 25, 2026, is open until December 5, 2025. The programme includes two main strands: Final Cut, which selects Spanish and Catalan feature films in post-production and awards a €20,000 prize to the winning project, and Producció Emergent, which focuses on feature film projects in development with specialised professional guidance. The lab provides intensive support through expert mentoring, workshops, and international networking opportunities for emerging directors and producers. The event is held in Spain (Barcelona) as part of the D’A – Festival de Cinema de Barcelona. While primarily geared towards Spanish and Catalan projects, it includes training and industry activities that promote international collaboration and exposure. Accepted formats are feature films in fiction and documentary, in development or post-production stages, offering pitch sessions, mentorship, and pathways toward broader festival circuits.
