Cine Qua Non Residency is a writing retreat specifically designed for alumni of Cine Qua Non Lab. The program aims to connect alumni from different generations of Cine Qua Non Lab and offer them the opportunity to work intensively on the development of their narrative feature screenplays in Mexico, in a structured environment that fosters professional collaboration.
Cine Qua Non Residency is a supported writing retreat that gives Cine Qua Non Lab alumni the opportunity to experience — or return to — the Cine Qua Non Lab facilities in Mexico and develop their scripts in a protected writing environment, with the support of international peers from various Lab generations and the guidance of an on-site mentor to help generate ideas. The retreat lasts 10 days.

Cine Qua Non Retreat (Spanish)
The 15th incentive FINALIZA – V Finishing Lab, supported by Filmo Estudios – Chile and Dolby Institute – Latin America, invites film projects in the finalization stage. This initiative provides a space for the completion of Bolivian and Ibero-American feature films in the genres of fiction, documentary, and/or animation.

Bolivia Lab - Finish Lab
The XXIII National Cinematographic Script Contest GIFF 2025 is open to Mexican screenwriters and foreigners with at least three years of residency in Mexico. Participants can submit scripts in two categories: fiction feature films (minimum 80 pages) and fiction short films (maximum 15 pages). Scripts must be original, written in Spanish, accompanied by a synopsis, and registered for copyright.
Up to five finalists per category will be awarded cash prizes, equipment, and services, along with script consultations and opportunities to pitch their projects to producers and investors during the Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF), held from July 25 to 31, 2025. XXIII NATIONAL SCRIPT CONTEST - GIFF
The 14th Bolivia Lab International Script Workshop 2025 is aimed at Ibero-American screenwriters, directors, and producers who are beginning their journey in the film industry. Bolivia Lab provides an opportunity for those looking to develop their feature film projects in fiction and animation. In Cochabamba, Bolivia's garden city, this international workshop will serve as a meeting point for exchanging experiences and developing new Bolivian and Ibero-American projects. The main objective is to offer Bolivian filmmakers a space to reflect, share stories, and build co-production ties with their Ibero-American peers. Ibero-American and Bolivian screenwriters with a script in progress, in collaboration with a director and/or producer, are invited to participate in this event.

Bolivia Lab - International Script Workshop
Bolivia Lab 2025 invites Ibero-American filmmakers with projects in development, whether documentary, fiction, or animation. This lab provides a unique space to reflect on the state of cinema in the region, encourage cooperation and co-production among countries, and strengthen creative, productive, and artistic ties. In a hybrid format, Bolivia Lab will feature conferences, masterclasses, international film screenings, and discussion panels with renowned film professionals from both Bolivia and internationally. The event will take place in the city of La Paz, Bolivia, promoting cultural identity, equity, and mutual respect among participants.
