The Short Distribution Market is an initiative of the Cerdanya Film Festival aimed at connecting short film creators with distributors, festivals, and platforms. It is open to fiction, animation, and documentary projects, both national and international.
Selected participants will present their works in private sessions to industry professionals, with the goal of facilitating distribution and exhibition agreements. This market will take place during the festival's Industry Days, held from July 28 to August 17, 2025, in Puigcerdà, Catalonia.

FICC - Short Distribution Market
The Pitch Showcase at the Cerdanya Film Festival 2025 is a call for emerging audiovisual projects in development (fiction, animation, or documentary; feature films, short films, series, and transmedia). It will take place on August 2, 2025, in Puigcerdà, as part of the festival running from July 28 to August 17.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects in 30-minute one-on-one sessions with interested producers and optionally in a 5-minute open pitch followed by a Q&A session. Additionally, they will receive personalized mentorship from professionals affiliated with Anonymous Content, Warner Bros. Discovery, RTVE, El Terrat, Filmax, TCM, and Movistar+.

FICC - Pitch SHOWCASE
The ABYCINE LANZA – AMNISTÍA INTERNACIONAL 2025 call supports the production of a short film focused on human rights. It is open to production companies, professionals, and amateurs, with at least one co-producer legally established in Spain. The short film must be in development or pre-production stage, up to 30 minutes long, and in any genre or format.
Projects should address themes such as freedom of expression, women’s rights, migration, climate justice, or armed conflict. The award includes €5,000 in production support and up to €2,000 for promotional activities.
Selected projects will be showcased at Abycine Lanza 2025, and the winning short will premiere in Abycine Cortos 2026, a Goya-qualifying section. Applications are open until June 30, 2025.

ABYCINE LAUNCHES – AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
The Independent Film Festival and Market of Albacete (ABYCINE) will hold its 27th edition from October 21 to 30, 2025. This event promotes the distribution of independent feature films and short films lacking regular commercial distribution. Abycine supports young cinema and new trends in Spanish “indie” film, while fostering audiovisual education. The call is open for Spanish feature films in the Abycine Indie section, national short films in Abycine Shorts, and regional works in Hecho en Castilla-La Mancha and Creación Audiovisual AB. The festival offers cash prizes totaling €11,400, including a special €6,000 acquisition prize in the Indie section. Registration is open until July 10, 2025. Its main objective is to promote the cinematographic art through the presentation of high quality films. LUSCA is an event that is celebrated in different places in Puerto Rico and lasts fifteen (15) days.
The script must be in one of the genres promoted by the LUSCA Fantastic Film Fest (fantasy, science fiction, comedy, bizarre).
