IDFA - Industry Program
This is an opportunity for filmmakers, producers, distributors, film schools, among others, to meet with programmers from the most important international film festivals. The goal of this meeting is to deepen the understanding of the specifics of each event and promote films within the international circuit. Meet the Festivals is part of the Curtas Pro section of the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde IFF and is limited to 24 participants. MEET THE FESTIVALS - Curtas Vila do Conde IFF
El Foro de Coproducción Europa-América Latina del Festival de San Sebastián 2025 se celebrará del 19 al 27 de septiembre. Está dirigido a proyectos cinematográficos en desarrollo, con una duración mínima de 60 minutos, presentados por productoras con sede en Europa o América Latina. Los proyectos europeos deben tener una conexión clara con América Latina (coproducción, temática, localización, etc.). Deben contar con al menos un 20% de financiación asegurada, un presupuesto en euros y la participación del director/a. Se valorará la innovación en formato, distribución y la trayectoria del director/a. Los proyectos seleccionados participarán en pitchings pregrabados y reuniones one-to-one. El plazo de inscripción está abierto del 16 de abril al 16 de junio de 2025. Los proyectos optan a premios de hasta 10.000 euros y oportunidades en Cannes y Ventana Sur.

SSIFF - Foro de Coproducción Europa-América Latina
La Residencia ALGA está abierta a cineastas y profesionales del audiovisual de Iberoamérica, España y Portugal. Apoya proyectos de largometraje y serie en desarrollo, de cualquier género o formato, incluyendo ficción, documental y experimental. La residencia es de 4 semanas, del 18 de agosto al 14 de septiembre de 2025, en Valdivia, Chile. Los seleccionados recibirán asesoría, alojamiento, transporte interno y una ayuda económica (400,000 CLP), con 500 USD para el viaje internacional.
Las postulaciones están abiertas hasta el 24 de abril de 2025, con una cuota de 25,000 CLP o 25 USD. Los seleccionados se anunciarán el 15 de junio de 2025.

Residencia Alga
The Venice Production Bridge 2025 will take place from August 28 to September 3 during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. This platform is designed to boost the financing and co-production of audiovisual projects in advanced development stages. It brings together global industry professionals through initiatives such as the Venice Gap-Financing Market, which showcases fiction feature films, creative documentaries, and immersive projects that have at least 70% of their funding secured.
Other key sections include Final Cut in Venice, supporting post-production films from Africa and the Arab world; the Book Adaptation Rights Market, connecting publishers and literary agents with producers; and the Venice Immersive Market, focused on XR, VR, and AR experiences. Additionally, the Meet the Streamers program facilitates direct contact with streaming and VOD platforms. In 2025, the spotlight will be on the United Kingdom, Chile, and Morocco, with curated events promoting their film industries.
