La convocatoria del Animation Lab Clermont-Ferrand 2026 está dirigida a productores internacionales interesados en el desarrollo y la producción de cortometrajes de animación. El taller se llevará a cabo del 31 de enero al 3 de febrero de 2026 en Clermont-Ferrand, Francia, en el marco del Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes y el Mercado de Cortometrajes. La llegada se programa para el 30 de enero y la salida entre el 3 y 4 de febrero.
El programa incluye conferencias de expertos internacionales, trabajo en grupo con presentaciones de planes de producción, retroalimentación y consultas individuales con líderes de grupo. Animation Lab Clermont-Ferrand
The 9th Workshop for Cinematographic Projects from Central America and the Caribbean is now open to filmmakers from the region with feature-length projects in development (fiction, documentary, or hybrid). Up to 15 projects will be selected for an intensive workshop held from October 18 to 27, 2025, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Organized by Ibermedia, with support from the Honduran Film Institute (IHC) and AECID, the workshop offers expert mentoring in scriptwriting, directing, producing, and distribution. Participation is free and aimed at screenwriters, directors, and producers from Central America and the Caribbean with prior experience.
The call is open from May 16 to July 28, 2025. Applicants must complete the form on Ibermedia’s website and submit the required materials as outlined in the official guidelines.

IX Workshop for Film Projects from Central America and the Caribbean
The Rotterdam Lab 2026 is a program for emerging international film producers seeking to expand their professional network and develop feature-length projects with international co-production potential. It is open to independent producers, freelancers, or junior producers in production companies, with no age limit, who have completed at least two short films and are working on their first or second feature.
The program prioritizes diversity and inclusion, especially welcoming applicants from minority, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, disabled communities, or underrepresented regions in the international film industry.
Selected participants receive full access to IFFR Pro and CineMart 2026, including accreditation for meetings, screenings, networking events, and five nights of accommodation. Travel expenses are not covered.
The lab takes place during the International Film Festival Rotterdam, from late January to early February 2026. Applicants must submit an application form, CV, and motivation letter, with an optional portfolio or dossier. The main focus is on the international potential of the project and the producer’s ability to contribute to and benefit from the lab.

Rotterdam Lab at the IFFR
CONECTA 2025 is an international documentary industry meeting organized by CCDoc (Chilean Documentary Corporation). Its 10th edition will take place from December 9 to 12, 2025, in a hybrid format combining onsite and online activities. Applications are open until July 28, 2025 at 23:59 (Santiago time, GMT‑4) and are aimed at Latin American projects or co‑productions with the region.
Main sections include: CONECTADOS, for feature documentaries in development or production; CONECTA WITH DISTRIBUTION, for films in editing, postproduction, or recently completed but unreleased; PITCH THE WHICKERS, for first features in development with onsite participation; and DOCS IN PROGRESS FIDOCS + CONECTA, for advanced editing projects receiving mentoring and prizes.
The event offers one‑on‑one meetings, workshops, talks, and networking opportunities, plus awards such as mentorships, postproduction services, and international market accreditations.

The Cinematographic Short Film Laboratory, MuniciLab, in its first version within the III Buga New Cinema Festival, FENCINE 2024, is a training and creation space for
emerging filmmakers of legal age from Guadalajara de Buga and category 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 municipalities of Valle del Cauca, Colombia; aiming to support and strengthen cinema
regional, providing participants with the necessary tools and resources to develop and produce their own short films.
