Grants can reach up to 30,000 euros for fiction scripts and up to 20,000 euros for documentaries. Forty-five percent of the budget is reserved for scripts written exclusively by women, and 25% for scripts in Spain’s co-official languages other than Spanish.

The Chicago Script Awards is an international screenwriting competition based in Chicago, United States, designed to support emerging writers and connect them with producers, agents, and film industry professionals. Selected projects will be announced on October 14, 2026, and Curtas Noia Industry Lab activities will take place from November 4 to 14, 2026 in Noia, Galicia, Spain. The call is open to international applicants and accepts projects from any nationality. Eligible formats are short films with an expected duration of less than 20 minutes.

The NEXUS Co-Production FORUM 2025 call is open to audiovisual producers worldwide with projects in development or production seeking co-production. Accepted formats include fiction, documentary, hybrid feature films, as well as short films and audiovisual installations with innovative potential. The focus is on auteur cinema, experimental works, and creative proposals emphasizing innovation and social commitment.
Selected projects will pitch to industry professionals, have one-on-one meetings with key agents, and receive full accreditation for festival activities. Accommodation and meals for two people per project are also provided during the event.
