Rehabilitate souls in pain, re-insert undead and generally encourage all kinds of beings wandering without destiny by the real world - and the underworld-celluloid to resume his passion unbridled by the fantastic cinema.

Zinema Zombie Fest is a Festival of fantastic film, Terror and subgenres. Film content, editorial, history and aesthetics, make pioneer in Colombia. Zinema Zombie, the entity responsible for this project, has a history of more than ten (12) years developing film exhibition and formation of public activities.

The festival has been involved repeatedly in exhibitions and festivals at the national and international levels; among which we can mention: SITGES Film Festival, Festival international de cinema Cali (Colombia), soft Film Festival (Mexico), film Fantasy (Brazil), Nocturna (Spain), Fixion SARS (Chile), FICH Macabro (Mexico), Tallinn Black Night Fil Festival (Estonia), among others.

Description

Zinema Zombie Fest is an event involved cultural, educational and non-profit. It is supported by the District Arts Institute (IDARTES) - which makes it a project of the city-by the Ministry of culture and PROIMÁGENES Colombia.

In the 2016 Zinema Zombie Fest (ZZF) reach its seventh uninterrupted year. The theme of the festival will be "Love hurts".

Zinema Zombie Fest - International Fantastic Film Festival invites all interested parties to register their works of feature-length or short fiction, animation or documentary fantasy film for its seventh edition.

General bases

• The deadline for receipt of materials will be the day Saturday, October 14, 2016 23:59 hours

• The registered works should have final date of completion 2015-2016 and have a duration of:

-Feature films (and documentaries): maximum length 120 minutes
-Short films: maximum duration of 20 minutes

• The festival will not pay shipping, and taxes that could generate this shipment.

For selected works

• The festival curatorial Committee will determine in that category are selected papers, i.e. in the respective official selections, only on display or in a specific section.

• All materials must be subtitled:
-If the original language is in Spanish, with English subtitles
-In any other language, with subtitles in Spanish
-Subtitles are the responsibility of the producers.

• Copies stands must conform to the technical requirements of each section of the festival. Brackets required for display of official selection work are DCP, Blu Ray or QuickTime Prores H264.

• At the latest, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, the representatives of the selected works must provide to the festival:

-A copy of display with subtitles in Spanish or English, as appropriate, in any of the previously established formats
-An additional Blu-ray of the final version with subtitles in Spanish or English depending on the case.

• Once selected, work not may be removed under any circumstances. All feature film or short film sent to Zinema Zombie Fest - International Festival of fantasy film and horror, implies acceptance of the rules of this call on an irrevocable basis.

• The Organization of the festival set the order and date of exhibition of the selected works.

• The works submitted and selected materials will remain in custody of the festival as part of his file with the commitment not to use them for profit.

• Reserves the right not to accept copies resulting inadequate for its projection after the quality control of the festival, the direction of the festival.

• Where applicants decide to not apply across partner platforms, the cost of any shipping of works registered for pre-selection will be borne by those interested. The above also applies to selected works and additional materials.

• For shipments by mail specify the contents of the package is "With Finnish cultural: without value commercial" the festival will not pay shipping, and taxes that could generate this shipment.

• Any situation not foreseen in this call for proposals will be considered and resolved by the Organization of the festival.
