From November 7, Screenplay Week returns, an event that brings together screenwriters from Colombia to enhance their creations, bring them closer to the film industry and strengthen their management skills.
At Fundación Algo en Común we want to invite you to participate in the III Salón de las Ideas: a meeting aimed at young screenwriters between 18 and 28 years old in Colombia who have a short film script and are interested in finding a production company and human talent that connects to the project to make it a reality.

Script Week - Something in Common
LINKEAD@S 2025 is a call launched by FIDBA (Buenos Aires International Documentary Film Festival) for early-stage documentary feature projects from Latin America. The initiative supports emerging ideas through mentoring, labs, masterclasses, and professional networking. Activities will take place in person in Buenos Aires from October 6–11, 2025.

The Coral Postproduction Award at the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is aimed at feature-length fiction, documentary, or animated films with Latin American or Caribbean themes that are in the postproduction phase. Its goal is to support the completion of works through technical resources and specialized services.
The call for submissions is open from May 5 to August 15, 2025. Projects must have been produced in 2024 or 2025, not have participated in international festivals held in Cuba, nor have been publicly disseminated on digital platforms.
Applicants must complete the registration form available on the festival's official website: habanafilmfestival.com. Submission requirements include a rough cut of the film and a project dossier containing a synopsis, treatment, director's statement, biographies of the director and producer, detailed postproduction plan, budget, and financing plan.
Selected projects will receive postproduction service packages provided by collaborating companies. In previous editions, companies such as Aracne DC and Arte Sonora have offered image and sound editing services, including Dolby mixing and specialized technical advice.

CORAL AWARD FOR POSTPRODUCTION - LA HABANA
The Film Poster Competition of the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema invites graphic designers, visual artists, and creatives from Latin America and the Caribbean to submit original posters related to Latin American cinema. Posters must be unpublished, created in 2024 or 2025, and not previously exhibited or awarded.
The call for submissions is open from May 5 to August 15, 2025. Applicants must complete the registration form available on the festival's official website: habanafilmfestival.com. Submissions should include a high-resolution digital version of the poster, a brief conceptual description, and the author's biography.
A jury will select the most outstanding posters, which will be exhibited during the festival, and will award the Coral Award for Best Film Poster. This competition aims to promote creativity and graphic design within the Latin American cinematic context.

FILM POSTER COMPETITION – LA HABANA
The Unproduced Screenplay Competition at the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is open to Latin American or Caribbean authors submitting original, unproduced scripts with themes related to Latin America or the Caribbean. Scripts must be written in Spanish and not have been previously awarded or published.
The call for submissions is open from May 5 to August 15, 2025. Applicants must complete the registration form available on the festival's official website: habanafilmfestival.com. Submissions should include the full script, a synopsis, and a brief author biography.
Selected scripts will be evaluated by a specialized jury, and the winner will receive the Coral Award for Unproduced Screenplay, aiming to encourage the creation and development of new cinematic proposals in the region.
