The Gáldar International Film Festival (FIC Gáldar) is one of the most important film festivals in the Canary Islands, and has concentrated in each of its editions the very best of national and international cinema. Organized by the City Council of Gáldar through its Council of Culture since 2013, this festival proposes a live event with important health measures to ensure complete safety and confort.

Our event as of today will be hosted on the original intended dates. We are closely following the rules and regulations set by the government of Spain and, since our hope is that cinemas are allowed to full capacity before our event, we are also open to open our venues in a limited capacity if that was mandatory. The 17th Film Festival: Childhood and Adolescence – 2026 is a celebration featuring spaces for audiovisual exchange and education for children, adolescents, and young adults, with screenings, recreational activities, workshops, panels, and discussions. Its primary objective is to promote Bogotá as a pioneering city in Latin America in terms of ensuring that children and adolescents are visible, play a leading role, and enjoy full rights through audiovisual production. Participation in the exhibition and audiovisual content sharing activities is free of charge.

The Festival will take place from September 7 to 12, 2026.

Mogilev State Enterprise "Kinovideoprokat" welcomes you and informs that in September 2026 in the city of Mogilev, Republic of Belarus, the XXVIII International Festival of Animated Films "Animaevka-2026" will be held.

Over the years, the festival has become a celebration of animation for children and adults. Events are held in all regional centers of Belarus.

For viewing, film screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs, creative meetings with the creators of animated films, master classes, exhibitions of children's fine and decorative and applied arts are organized.

The Oiasso Roman Museum and the City Council of Irun organize the International Archaeological Film Festival of the Bidasoa.

The aim of the Festival is to present archaeology to the general public, through the diffusion of audio-visual material resulted from the work made by archaeologists, assuring the promotion and the spreading of these films.

The Festival is being celebrated since the year 2001 and from the year 2004 it has four prizes: the Grand Prize of the Festival, the Special Audience Prize, the Educational Values Prize and Arkeolan Prize for Contribution to Science. Since 2006, it’s inside Fedarcine, the European network of Archaeological Film Festivals.
