MACAU INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL (“FESTIVAL”) is an annual worldwide audio-visual festival that aims to motivate overseas and Macau short film and music videos productions to compete in this FESTIVAL.

The Festival was previously known as "Sound & Image Challenge" and was first launched in 2010 focusing only on an audiovisual competition for local talent. This initiative was co-founded with professionals in film, music, sound and image fields, with two priorities: to promote the Creative Industries in the audiovisual sector and highlight the local talents in the production of sound and moving image design. The nineteenth version of the Muestra Cine + Video Indígena, organised by the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, opens its call for entries from 21 November to 7 March 2026 to films by indigenous and non-indigenous filmmakers whose central theme is indigenous peoples, especially in Latin America.

The “Uhvati film” (Seize the Film) Festival takes place in Novi Sad (Serbia), Rijeka (Croatia) and Kotor (Montenegro).

Through a thematically and artistically distinctive film selection, the festival aims to promote the potential of persons with disabilities, raise public awareness about the challenges they face (with special attention to multiply marginalized groups), and contribute to the advancement of disability rights.

Films selected for the Novi Sad program will enter consideration for screenings in Rijeka and Kotor, as well as for post-production programs (in all countries).

The festival organizers (KAO Parnas – Serbia, Spirit Association – Croatia, NGO Art 365 – Montenegro) will personally contact the authors of the selected films.

Mogilev State Enterprise "Kinovideoprokat" welcomes you and informs that in September 2026 in the city of Mogilev, Republic of Belarus, the XXVIII International Festival of Animated Films "Animaevka-2026" will be held.

Over the years, the festival has become a celebration of animation for children and adults. Events are held in all regional centers of Belarus.
