Each short film represents time, decisions, a way of seeing, of telling, and of expressing.

In its 15th edition, El Festivalico continues to receive works from all over the world, each one very different from the others.

Not all of them are screened.

The selection is carried out by a team with diverse sensibilities and perspectives.

This process takes us months of viewing, always approached with the utmost respect and rigor for every work received.

Over the years, some of the selected works have continued their journey, later being selected and awarded at the Goya Awards, among other recognitions.

But all of them are part of the same thing:
the need to tell stories and to be seen.

For a few days, a selection of these stories is shared and experienced.

The 17th edition of the Puente Genil Film and Short Film Festival, CortogeniAl, will be held in Puente Genil, Córdoba (Spain), from October 9 to 17, 2026.

REQUIREMENTS:

− Short films must have been produced in 2025 or 2026.

− The duration must not exceed 30 minutes.

− Productions not filmed in Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish.

− The authors will own the rights to their works and are responsible for all copyrights present in the short film.

The deadline to register for the XXV International Short Film Festival “El Pecado 2026” is open. This year prizes are: 1,500 euros for the winning fiction short film and 700 euros for the other four main prizes. The registration period goes from Monday May 4th, to Sunday June 7th of this year, both inclusive. The duration of the short films (maximum 2 by participant) will not exceed 20 minutes (21 including credits). If it has spoken sound, Spanish or subtitles in this language shall be used. The FENAVID International Film Festival is held annually in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Organized by the Audiovisual Foundation (FUNDAV), the Festival has become the most important film event in Bolivia and one of the most relevant in Latin America.
