LA PECCA -Small Environmental Film Contest- was born in 2007 by the DeFrente Association.

The main purpose of this project is to promote respect for sexual and gender diversity through cinema, contributing to the development of a plural and inclusive society.
Taking a quality film event as a vehicle, we show plural life stories and encourage people to visibly live their sexual and gender identity, to promote social awareness and claim at the same time the right of the LGTBIQ + community to be present in culture and in society equally.

The Barcelona Olympic Foundation, with the support of the Barcelona City Council, organizes the BCN Sports Film 2027 – 17th BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL and forms part of the WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE 2027.

The 10th Kunta Kinte Afro Community International Film Festival will take place from September 2 to 6, 2026, in the city of Medellín, Colombia. This year, the central theme of the festival is: "Resistance and creativity of Afro-descendant peoples".

We invite filmmakers to submit their films, documentaries, and short films addressing aspects of the African diaspora, such as the history of slavery, global Afro-descendant culture, the struggle for civil rights, migration experiences, and the influence of African heritage in various cultural expressions.
