BrLab Rough Cut is an intensive workshop for feature films in the editing or post-production stage, aimed at teams from Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula, and Italy. Its goal is to provide personalized guidance from renowned editors to enhance the final cut of fiction films. The 2024 edition will take place in São Paulo from October 4 to 7. Projects must submit a recent cut and be near final editing. Selected films receive Ibermedia grants covering travel, accommodation, and meals for two representatives. The workshop also offers networking opportunities with industry professionals. BrLab Rough Cut has supported internationally awarded films, contributing to the growth and strengthening of the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.

Sykehouse Film - Writers's Conference
This workshop is designed for anyone who has an interest in developing their own perspective and personal style, in returning to the essence of cinema based on cinematographic language and film fact, beyond the plot or script.
This workshop focuses on contemplative and reflective cinema, focused on the power of image and sound. It is aimed at students of art, cinema, photography, audiovisual, film and photography lovers, and professionals and artists with concerns and interest in developing new forms of expression of cinematographic language.

TALLER SLOW CINEMA CON JIAJIE YU YAN
The theme of the scripts is completely free and may belong to any genre. All works submitted must be original. If the contestant uses a novel, a short story or a text by another author as the basis for the script, the contestant must include in his or her registration the corresponding authorization from the author of the original work.

Script Competition - IBIZACINEFEST
El escaparate VdR–Pitching, que se llevará a cabo durante los VdR–Industry Days (del 6 al 9 de abril de 2025) en Nyon, Suiza, es el competitivo foro internacional de coproducción y cofinanciación de Visions du Réel, donde se presentan quince proyectos en etapa avanzada de desarrollo al mercado internacional.
El evento ofrece a los participantes la oportunidad de no solo presentar sus proyectos ante actores clave, sino también discutir su contenido. A través de mesas redondas y reuniones individuales, se exploran opciones de financiación, distribución y mercados que sean más orgánicos y relevantes para cada proyecto. El objetivo es fomentar colaboraciones internacionales que respalden proyectos cinematográficos destacados dirigidos a una audiencia global.
