MIA 2025 is now accepting submissions from producers with development projects in the Animation, Documentary, Drama, and Film categories. Up to 50 international projects will be selected, aiming for co-production, financing, or pre-sale agreements. Eligible projects must be intended for theatrical release, television broadcast, or digital streaming platforms. The submission deadline is June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM CEST.
Selected projects will participate in the Pitching Forum during the event, held in Rome from October 6 to 10, 2025. They will also be eligible for the MIA Development Awards, each offering a €5,000 cash prize per category.
Participation is open to lead producers with a registered production company. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. All materials must be submitted in English.

MIA CO-PRODUCTION MARKET
The Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition is an international screenwriting contest open to feature films, shorts, and TV pilots across all genres. The submission deadline is November 2, 2025. Scripts must be submitted in English as PDFs and meet standard length requirements per category. The jury consists of industry professionals from major studios such as Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Participants can optionally request executive feedback with a free resubmission option. Winners receive laurels, certificates, industry exposure, and an invitation to attend the live event in Los Angeles on March 21 and 22, 2026. Festival de cine Hollywood Storytellers - CONCURSO DE GUIÓN
En colaboración con la incubadora de proyectos de cine RUTA CRÍTICA, el Puerto Rico Film Festival convoca a la comunidad de cineastas de PUERTO RICO al PRFF PITCH'24, como parte de sus esfuerzos de INDUSTRIA PRFF’24. En esta edición buscamos darle exposición a largometrajes de ficción y largometrajes documentales en desarrollo, frente a profesionales internacionales y nacionales de la Industria, para retroalimentación y posibilidad de colaboración, desarrollo o coproducción.

PRFF - PITCH
El tema de los guiones es completamente libre y podrá pertenecer a cualquier género. Todas las obras que se presenten deberán ser originales. En caso de que el concursante utilice como base del guión una novela, un cuento o algún texto de otro autor, el concursante deberá incluir en su inscripción la autorización correspondiente del autor de la obra original.

Concurso de guiones - IBIZACINEFEST
Histeria Lab es un laboratorio dedicado al desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos en los géneros de terror, fantasía y ciencia ficción. Forma parte del Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico Histeria, que se celebra en San José, Costa Rica. Su objetivo es proporcionar herramientas y asesoramiento a cineastas para potenciar sus proyectos y facilitar su inserción en el mercado. Durante el laboratorio, los participantes reciben capacitaciones y asesorías personalizadas de profesionales nacionales e internacionales en áreas como guion, dirección, producción y pitching. Las actividades incluyen clases magistrales, sesiones individuales y la preparación de un pitch que se presenta al finalizar el evento.
