The Pitch Guadalajara – Fantastic Genre is a call for Ibero-American feature film projects in development, with a running time over 70 minutes, focusing on horror, fantasy, and science fiction. Applications are open from January 12 to February 13, 2026, and selected projects will participate during the Guadalajara International Film Festival, taking place from April 17 to April 25, 2026, in Guadalajara, Mexico. PITCH GUADALAJARA - FICG
MERCADOC.0 is an initiative by the Festival de Málaga and Culturia that will take place from March 18 to 21, 2025, as part of MAFIZ, the industry section of the festival. The event aims to foster innovation in Ibero-American documentaries by focusing on artistic, financial, and new business models development.
MERCADOC.0 offers training and personalized advice to directors and producers, while facilitating opportunities for international co-productions, distribution, and global business exploration. The event will select up to 12 projects (6 from Latin America and 6 from Spain and Portugal) in various documentary genres such as author documentaries, social media documentaries, docu-reality, and investigative documentaries.
The initiative also provides a platform to connect with industry professionals and increase the visibility of Ibero-American documentaries on a global scale.

Pitching Forum - Fantastika
The CASA CINE 2026 music residency is aimed at film composers interested in developing feature film projects. The program is open internationally, welcoming participants from any nationality, and focuses on creating original soundtracks for fiction, documentary, or animation films.
Applications for composers are open from January 15 to February 15, 2026. The residency will take place from May 6 to 29, 2026 at the Château de la Napoule in France, coinciding with the Cannes Film Festival. During this period, selected participants will work intensively on their film compositions, receiving specialized mentorship and opportunities to collaborate with screenwriters and filmmakers.
