ECM+LAB 2026 es el 10.º Encuentro de Coproducción del Mercosur, realizado en el marco del FAM 30 años en Florianópolis, Brasil. Esta edición especial amplía su alcance a Iberoamérica y está orientada a fortalecer alianzas, estrategias de financiamiento y oportunidades de coproducción para proyectos audiovisuales en desarrollo.
La convocatoria estuvo abierta del 31 de marzo al 10 de mayo de 2026, considerando la prórroga del plazo original. El encuentro se llevará a cabo de manera presencial del 4 al 6 de septiembre de 2026, dentro de las actividades del festival FAM, que se desarrollará del 3 al 9 de septiembre de 2026.
La iniciativa acepta postulaciones internacionales de países del Mercosur, Iberoamérica, España, Portugal y otros territorios asociados. Está dirigida a proyectos de largometraje de ficción, documental e híbrido.
El programa combina actividades de laboratorio y mercado, ofreciendo espacios de capacitación, asesorías, networking y reuniones de coproducción. Además, algunos proyectos seleccionados pueden acceder a apoyos para su participación presencial, consolidando al ECM+LAB como una plataforma relevante para el desarrollo y la internacionalización de proyectos audiovisuales.

ECM + LAB (Industry)
Polish Days 2026 is a film industry platform taking place from July 26–28, 2026, in Wrocław, Poland, as part of the New Horizons International Film Festival. The event is dedicated to the international promotion of Polish cinema and brings together producers, distributors, sales agents, funding representatives, and audiovisual professionals from around the world.
The call is aimed at Polish feature films at different stages of development. Eligible submissions include projects in development for pitching sessions, films in production or post-production for the Work in Progress section, and completed films for industry screenings. No specific genre restrictions are stated.
Application deadlines are April 17, 2026 for projects in development and May 25, 2026 for completed films and Work in Progress entries. The initiative is designed to foster international co-production opportunities, distribution strategies, and festival exposure for Polish film projects.

Polish Days - New Horizons International Film Festival
The Europe–Latin America Co-Production Forum of the San Sebastián International Film Festival is an industry initiative designed to support film projects in development and strengthen co-production opportunities between Europe and Latin America. The 2026 call was open to production companies with fiction, non-fiction, animation, and transmedia or multiplatform projects linked to cinema, with a minimum running time of 60 minutes. European projects were required to demonstrate a direct connection with Latin America.
Applications were accepted from April 15 to June 15, 2026 (11:59 PM GMT+2). Selected projects will take part in pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings with potential partners, financiers, and industry professionals. The forum will be held from September 21 to 23, 2026, as part of the industry activities of the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival, which will take place in Spain from September 18 to 26, 2026.

SSIFF - Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum
The 4th Development Lab for Indigenous and Afro-descendant Filmmakers of Mexico, organized by the Morelia International Film Festival (Morelia Pro) with support from Netflix, is designed to support film projects in the development stage. The call is open exclusively to Mexican nationals who identify as Afro-descendant and/or members of Indigenous communities.
The program accepts fiction, documentary, animation, and transmedia projects of any length, provided they have an advanced script or treatment. Participants receive professional guidance in story development, project structure, financing, co-production, legal matters, and distribution strategies.
The application deadline is June 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM (Mexico City time). The laboratory will take place in person in Morelia, Michoacán, from October 14 to 18, 2026. Ten projects will be selected to participate in this edition.

FICM – Workshop for Indigenous and Afrodescendant Filmmakers from Mexico
Producers Meet Producers (PMP) 2026 is an audiovisual incubation program organized by the Audiovisual Producers of Catalonia (PAC), held within the Industry Hub of the Sitges Film Festival in Spain. It is a meeting space between emerging production companies and established professionals designed to support the development of audiovisual projects across multiple formats and genres.
The 2026 call for applications is open from May 4 to June 19, 2026, through the INCOPRODUCTION platform. Selected projects will be announced at the end of July 2026, and the industry event will take place on October 14, 2026 in Sitges, Catalonia (Spain).
The program is primarily aimed at emerging production companies based in Catalonia, although participation is defined by the official call’s criteria. It accepts fiction and documentary projects in formats such as short films, feature films, series, and transmedia works, with no genre restrictions.
PMP operates as an incubation scheme combining mentorship, consultancy sessions, training, networking, and industry access, aiming to strengthen audiovisual projects in development within the sector.
