Prix Philoxenia – The Short Film Competition on Hospitality
What if a simple short film could change the way we see others?
The Prix Philoxenia invites young people aged 12 to 24 to share their vision of hospitality through a 1-to-5-minute film: welcoming others, reaching out, overcoming differences, and creating connections. Whether social, cultural, intergenerational, sporting, religious, or linked to migration, hospitality lies at the heart of the stories that bring us together.
Open to both first-time and experienced filmmakers, the competition is accessible to everyone: a simple smartphone is all you need to take part. Entries can be submitted individually, as a group, or as part of a school or educational institution project.
Six awards (Jury and Audience Awards across three categories: Middle School, High School, and 18–24-year-olds) will recognize the most inspiring films at the Grand Rex in Paris, with €1,000 awarded to each winner.
If you have a story to tell and want to share your vision of the world, join the Philoxenia adventure.
