mujerDOC – 10th International Feminist Documentary Film Festival, organized by the NGO Mujeres del Mundo (Women of the World) and the Soria City Council, is a documentary screening platform created to help eliminate gender stereotypes and highlight the role of women in the development of the territories, communities, societies, and countries where they have lived or currently live.
Submitted works must address themes related to the fight for equality and the feminist agenda. Films must be documentaries produced on or after January 1, 2024. There are no minimum or maximum runtime limits. Films must be subtitled in Spanish and/or English. Clean copies (without burned-in subtitles) and two SRT subtitle files (one in Spanish, one in English) must be submitted.
The festival is hopefully scheduled to take place in March 2027 in Soria (Spain).
A festival committee will select the films to be included in a single Official Section, competing for the following awards:
- "Woman" Award: €3,000 (eligible to films directed by women)
- Feature Film Award: €2,000 (60 minutes or longer)
- Short Film Award: €1,000 (up to 59 minutes)
Additional awards may be established in collaboration with other entities.
* Each selected film will receive €150 for its total exhibition at the Festival, covering a maximum of 4 screenings; the specific screening schedule will be communicated to each film in advance.
