FRAME-SE Resende is a national pocket film festival focused on boosting, broadcasting, and awarding audiovisual productions created exclusively through mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The event consolidates itself as a major competitive showcase and a hub for fostering the creative economy, encouraging filmmakers, independent collectives, and producers from all over Brazil to submit their works and compete for recognition on the big screen.The backbone of the project is its National Competitive Showcase, which takes over the professional theaters of Cine Show for 7 weeks of public screenings. There, films compete for outstanding official awards for the best works across various technical and artistic categories, culminating in a glamorous Grand Gala Night complete with a red carpet. Aligned with its role of social impact, the festival actively drives audience development by engaging the region's school ecosystem (both public and private networks). This synergy opens space for the Student Parallel Showcase, an exclusive window that offers students the unique opportunity to experience hands-on production and exhibit their original creations within the official programming of a major film festival.
