Costa Rica Media Market (CRMM) 2026 is an international audiovisual market held in Costa Rica that brings together producers, distributors, buyers, platforms, investors, and industry professionals to create business opportunities, co-production partnerships, and project development opportunities. The event takes place in San José and includes industry meetings, pitch sessions, conferences, and networking activities.
The 2026 edition will take place from July 14 to 15, 2026, with professional meetings, presentations, and industry encounters, followed by a Fam Tour from July 16 to 18, 2026, showcasing Film Friendly locations across Costa Rica.
The call is international and welcomes audiovisual professionals and projects from different markets. It accepts fiction, documentary, animation, and other audiovisual content. Its main areas include an audiovisual market, pitch sessions, co-production forum, and specialized laboratories, such as Fantastic Lab for horror, fantasy, and science fiction projects.
Accepted formats include feature films, series, audiovisual projects in development, animation, video games, and content for television and digital platforms.

WIP FECILS 2026 is the industry section of the Festival Internacional de Cine de La Serena dedicated to supporting Chilean audiovisual projects in the post-production stage. The call is open to fiction and documentary feature films and short films created by filmmakers residing outside the Metropolitan Region, with the aim of promoting the decentralization of Chile’s audiovisual sector. Submissions are open until August 21, 2026. Selected projects will take part in screenings and one-on-one feedback sessions with a jury of industry professionals during the festival week. As a Work in Progress platform, the program offers post-production awards focused on color grading and sound, helping selected projects complete and strengthen their final versions.

MIANIMA 5th Edition is a mentorship program focused on the incubation, development, and promotion of animation projects led by women from the Ibero-American region. Over a four-month period, selected participants receive masterclasses and personalized mentoring to strengthen their projects across key areas of the animation industry.
The call for applications is open from July 27 to September 2, 2026. The program will run from September 2026 through January 2027, concluding with the MIANIMA Pitch Day and the MIA Market in Madrid, where participants will present their projects, compete for awards, and take part in one-to-one meetings with leading animation industry professionals.
The program welcomes international applications from women across the Ibero-American community and accepts animated short films, feature films, and series, as well as MIANIMA Lite, a category created for student-led animation projects.

MIANIMA 5th edition
Laboratory focused on cinematographic projects of a marked authorial nature in line with the programming and philosophy of FICX, which is committed to new perspectives and ways of making films.
The program is aimed at emerging filmmakers and residents in the Spanish State. It consists of two modalities.
