The application period runs from May 19 to June 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM (Mexico City time). Selected projects will take part in in-person advisory sessions during the 29th edition of the festival, held from July 24 to August 2, 2026 in Guanajuato, Mexico. The program provides one-on-one mentorship in key areas such as script development, pitching, financing, production, legal issues, distribution, and marketing. It accepts fiction, documentary, and animation projects at any stage of development, strictly in feature film format, including development, production, and work-in-progress stages. Selection is made by a festival-appointed committee, and participation requires full in-person availability during the event dates.

Since 2009 it has promoted emerging and senior talents who have projects in fiction, documentary, animation and audiovisual innovation (series, transmedia, virtual reality, augmented and immersive). The application deadline is June 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Mexico City time). Selected projects are announced on June 25, 2026, followed by an intensive Bootcamp held from July 28 to 30, 2026. Although the program is based in Mexico, it is open to creators from all Latin American countries. It accepts only animated projects in development, primarily series and feature films, rather than completed works.
