The Film Poster Competition of the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema invites graphic designers, visual artists, and creatives from Latin America and the Caribbean to submit original posters related to Latin American cinema. Posters must be unpublished, created in 2024 or 2025, and not previously exhibited or awarded.
The call for submissions is open from May 5 to August 15, 2025. Applicants must complete the registration form available on the festival's official website: habanafilmfestival.com. Submissions should include a high-resolution digital version of the poster, a brief conceptual description, and the author's biography.
A jury will select the most outstanding posters, which will be exhibited during the festival, and will award the Coral Award for Best Film Poster. This competition aims to promote creativity and graphic design within the Latin American cinematic context.

The Inspired Screenwriting Competition no es solo un concurso, sino una experiencia que impulsa a los guionistas a encontrar su voz auténtica. The Inspired Screenwriting Competition
The Unproduced Screenplay Competition at the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is open to Latin American or Caribbean authors submitting original, unproduced scripts with themes related to Latin America or the Caribbean. Scripts must be written in Spanish and not have been previously awarded or published.
The call for submissions is open from May 5 to August 15, 2025. Applicants must complete the registration form available on the festival's official website: habanafilmfestival.com. Submissions should include the full script, a synopsis, and a brief author biography.
Selected scripts will be evaluated by a specialized jury, and the winner will receive the Coral Award for Unproduced Screenplay, aiming to encourage the creation and development of new cinematic proposals in the region.

UNPRODUCED SCRIPT COMPETITION – LA HABANA
The Short Distribution Market at the Cerdanya Film Festival 2026 is an industry market focused on the distribution of completed short films. It is designed for filmmakers and producers seeking to connect with distributors, sales agents, festival programmers, and other industry professionals through one-on-one meetings, networking activities, workshops, and specialized sessions.
The call is open to international applicants from any country. It accepts completed short films of all genres, provided they are not currently represented by a national or international sales agent.
The submission deadline is July 10, 2026. The market will take place as part of the Cerdanya Film Festival, scheduled from August 1 to August 16, 2026, in Spain.

FICC - Short Distribution Market
FICC – Pitch SHOWCASE is the Cerdanya Film Festival’s professional pitching and networking program in Spain, created for emerging audiovisual projects seeking to present their work to leading national and international producers and industry professionals. The initiative combines one-to-one meetings with producers and public pitching sessions designed to foster partnerships and co-production opportunities.
The call is open to international fiction, documentary, and animation projects, including feature films, short films, series, and transmedia productions. Selected teams take part in an on-site pitching event and professional networking activities as part of the festival’s industry program.
For the 2026 edition, the submission deadline is July 10, 2026. The Cerdanya Film Festival will take place from August 1 to August 16, 2026, with Pitch Showcase activities held within the festival’s professional industry program.
