We feel that short-form cinema and its creators should have their own premier film festival in Toronto deserving similar recognition given to the feature film and its creators.

The International Gay, Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Lima - the OutfestPerú - opens its call for the XXI edition and films of all nationalities whose theme is LGBTIQ, and which are eligible for the various sections of the festival can participate in it: Feature films ( Official Section and International Panorama), Short Films Section either Documentary or Fiction and Video Art (Official and Panorama). The works must not have been exhibited in commercial theaters, broadcast on TV or be available to the public on the Internet or other windows in Peruvian territory prior to the celebration of the festival and must have copyright after 2023. Feature films and short films must preferably be unpublished in Peru, although this is not exclusive but will be valued very positively. OutfestPerú reserves the right to include films that do not meet these conditions in the programming, but out of competition.
The CalellaFilmFestival is a festival dedicated to all those Low Budget films of national or international production, with the aim of rewarding and promoting films made with few media but with high artistic value.
The CalellaFilmFestival has two sections:
"Low Budget" section
The selected feature films will compete as best productions of the year in the national or international scope, with an investment of less than 500,000 euros.
Section "Creative Rosebud Awards"
All those productions that throughout the year have stood out for their creativity and originality, both in the field of national and international production, with an investment exceeding 500.00 euros will compete.

Art Scene West is organizing its first ever film festival to celebrate the motion-picture arts. The Experimental Audiovisual Center (NAVE, in Portuguese) is an independent collective established in 2021 that focuses on experimental audiovisual studies.
NAVE Exhibition (Mostra NAVE) was created within the collective aiming to study, share and promote experimental films, video arts and other forms of audiovisual expression and in 2025 it presents its 4th edition, gaining national and international visibility.
The NAVE Exhibition consists of screenings of films previously selected by the center's curatorial team.

Any individual or legal entity, whether participating individually or collectively, may take part without age restrictions. Submissions can include any audiovisual production in 4K, 2K, Full HD, HDV, or HD formats. Productions that have been previously screened or featured in other showcases and festivals are eligible. Submissions must have been completed during the current year or the previous year.
All works recorded in digital format will be accepted for all sections that form part of the official selection.

In the historic enchanted village of Millesimo, in the province of Savona ( Italy ) and in a Theater Osvaldo Chebello in Cairo Montenotte the second edition of the "Millesimo Cairo Montenotte International Film Festival" will be held in September 2025.

The Universidad Vasco de Quiroga (UVAQ) invites you to participate in the 18th Edition of the Festival Internacional de Cortometraje UVAQ (FICUVAQ), which will take place from June 9 to June 13, 2025, in a hybrid format (online and in person) in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.

"One Shot" promotes independent film production in Armenia. Submitted films have no limitations in shooting format. Films can be shot on cell phones, film and HD cameras. Competition has three categories: "One Minute - One Shot", "Short Movies" and "Cinema Without Border". There are special programs and panel discussions too.
