Das Ponferrada Film Festival ist eine Veranstaltung, die sich auf die Verbreitung und Förderung von Kurzfilmen aus aller Welt spezialisiert hat, unabhängig von Produktion, Vertrieb, Ausstellungsformat, Kategorie, Genre oder Thema.

The Art Color Digital Cinema International Film Festival opened in 2014. The ACDCIFF offers a setting for filmmakers to premiere new work and for audiences to see innovative new films from innovative filmmakers. The festival is IMDb qualifying - the awarded films will be granted an IMDb title page.
The "Golden Piglet" award might include a cash award as well.
The Icarus Film Festival has been a key piece in the creation of a Central American audiovisual movement, where the cultural integration of the region becomes a reality. Its execution requires an Organizing Committee with representation in each Central American country, in the Caribbean and in the United States, in charge of the realization of the National Icarus Festivals and the Icarus Central American Cinema Samples.
It is a project created and produced by Casa Comal, Art and Culture that is carried out in all mass media. It has cinemas, a TV program, a radio program and a newspaper.
The nominees and winners of the last edition of the International Icarus, constitute the main material that is projected in the national Icarus festivals. Six festivals are held in each country from Guatemala to Panama, between August and September of each year. Six Icarus Central American Film Samples are also held in Havana, Cuba and San Juan, Puerto Rico, New York and Miami in the United States, Buenos Aires and Vienna.
Das FICNOVA International Film Festival on Active Nonviolence findet alle zwei Jahre rund um den 2. Oktober statt, dem von den Vereinten Nationen ausgerufenen Internationalen Tag der Gewaltfreiheit.
Es wird durch Freiwilligenarbeit von der gemeinnützigen humanistischen Vereinigung FICNOVA organisiert und gefördert, die vom Universalistischen Humanismus inspiriert ist, zusammen mit anderen Verbänden, Organisationen und Einzelpersonen, die die transformative Sensibilität aktiver Gewaltfreiheit teilen.
Nach den ersten sieben Ausgaben, die in verschiedenen Städten in Argentinien, Bolivien, Brasilien, Kanada, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mauretanien, Mexiko, Peru, der Tschechischen Republik und Spanien stattfanden, nehmen Aktivisten aus verschiedenen Städten und Ländern erneut gemeinsam an der Vorbereitung der achten Ausgabe von FICNOVA 2026 teil.
FICNOVA ist ein thematisches Festival, das Filme aus der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt, die Beispiele für aktive Gewaltfreiheit als Mittel zur Überwindung von Gewalt, Diskriminierung und menschlichem Leid zeigen.
In dieser Ausgabe werden wir den Arbeiten besondere Aufmerksamkeit schenken, die GEWALTFREIHEIT am besten als universelle Referenz demonstrieren und den persönlichen Egozentrismus überwinden, der nur an sich selbst interessiert ist, und der Gruppe von Fraktionen, die sich nur für diejenigen interessieren, die „wie ich“ sind. Wir werden jene Produktionen hervorheben, die danach streben, das Beste für jeden Menschen zu wollen, und so VON MIR ZU WIR übergehen.
In diesem allgemeinen Kontext stellen wir die folgenden Teilnahmerichtlinien für die 8. Ausgabe von FICNOVA 2026 vor.
Hauptprogramm (internationaler Wettbewerb), in dem regelmäßig Filme aus der ganzen Welt gezeigt werden, darunter der erste und zweite Spielfilm eines Regisseurs. Die Idee ist, neue Filmemacher zu fördern, die ihr Debüt geben oder gerade erst ihre Karriere beginnen.
Ziel dieses Programms ist es, die neuen Filmgeschichten relativ unbekannter Filmemacher zu identifizieren und zu fördern, um ihnen zu Beginn ihrer Filmkarriere eine Chance zu geben.
Die Idee für dieses Filmfestival entstand aus dem dringenden Bedürfnis nach einem größeren Raum für die Präsentation von Debütfilmen vieler neuer Filmemacher aus der Region und der ganzen Welt.
Das Internationale Filmfestival KineNova Skopje umfasst daher Aktivitäten wie Förderung, Unterstützung, Anreize, Erfahrungsaustausch und Filmpreise. Es ist ein Ort für neue Filmemacher, um neue Geschichten zu präsentieren und eine neue Perspektive auf die Menschheit und die Welt, in der wir leben, zu bieten.
Das Festival und die Stadt Skopje haben die Ehre, der Treffpunkt für neue Filmemacher und ein Sprungbrett für ihre jeweiligen Karrierewege zu sein.
VISIONI FUORI RACCORDO is the Rome Documentary Film Festival dedicated to creative documentaries and non-fictional films. Started 9 years ago focusing on Cinema and Metropolis we have since expanded the focus to explore the meaning of borders, identities, memory and migrations. The festival intends to explore the edges of things; where change occurs. VISIONI FUORI RACCORDO focuses on the point of change.
The Festival is an important rendez-vous to promote and present documentaries in Rome. VISIONI FUORI RACCORDO is a great place for directors, critics and a large audience to meet and debate. Besides the Italian Competition, VISIONI FUORI RACCORDO presents Retrospectives, Perspectives, Homages and Special Screenings such as F. Wiseman In Jackson Heights in 2015 edition. The event involves the public and professionals to inspire meetings, debates and an open dialogue on nonfictional documentary narration and contemporary issues.
The Festival will take place in Rome in November, and there will be many related events, meetings and additional screenings nationally and internationally. In 2016 we will also present the Section HOMELANDS, committed to International Documentaries dealing with the search of identity and belongings through innovative documentary filmmaking.
Since its first edition, VFR is supported by Lazio Region, Rome Municipality and works in partnership with AAMOD Fondazione Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico, with the sponsorship of the production company Road Television.

Seit 2010 im DETOUR Arthouse Cinema, in der Innenstadt von Rom, widmet sich ON the ROAD FILM FESTIVAL dem zeitgenössischen unabhängigen Kino - Fiktion, dokumentarisch und experimentell - Reiseberichte, Stadt- und Abwasserwanderungen, reale oder imaginäre Topographien, unerwartete Umwege, psycho-geographische Drifts, Migration und Nomadismus.
Wir suchen Filme, die durch sprachliche und erzählerische Fähigkeiten eine kritische und erfinderische Herangehensweise an die Themenrichtlinien des Festivals entwickeln: eine Wanderstimmung mit Abschweifungen von festen Pfaden, wo die Route das ist, was zählt, nicht das Ziel.
Das Festival veranstaltet Vorführungen, Meisterkurse, Meetings, Kunstausstellungen, Live-Performances und Musik, sowohl im DETOUR Cinema als auch in einer Vielzahl von Kinos, Filmclubs, Schulen, öffentlichen Bibliotheken und anderen ungewöhnlichen Orten in Rom und Umgebung.

Epic ACG fest is a unique event showcase animation, comics and games. Though screening, exhibition and competition, bring together the creative elements, the artists and the general public from worldwide.
During the festival, EACG is also hosting the Live Demonstrations, Networking Receptions, Master Workshops, Panel Discussions, Business Symposiums, Recruiting and the Professional Exhibits offered throughout the event as well as the One-On-One Personal Consultations with creative professionals from top studios and educational institutions both local and international. Ein Filmfestival, das unabhängige Filme auswählt, die sonst für die Öffentlichkeit dieser Orte nicht zugänglich wären.

Internationales Filmfest für den unterhaltsamen, fantastischen und Arthouse freien Genrefilm.
Das Obscura Filmfest wurde 2016 von David Ghane gegründet und wird seitdem alleine von ihm geführt. Seit 1996 ist er leidenschaftlicher Genrefilm Fan, besucht seit 2004 mehrere Filmfestivals pro Jahr, hilft teilweise dort aus, spielt selber als Komparse in Horrorfilmen mit und ist ein extremer Filme Sammler.
Das Obscura Filmfest hat sich auf unterhaltsame und fantastische Filme spezialisiert, egal ob groß oder klein, Filme die regulär fast gar nicht ins Kino kommen. Dort laufen meist Mainstream Blockbuster oder Arthouse Filme die auf den meisten anderen gewöhnlichen Filmfestivals zu finden sind. Selbst vergleichbare Festivals erweitern ihr Programm um immer mehr Arthouse. Wer stattdessen auf unterhaltsame, kleinere und spezielle Independent Filme steht, sich aber auch größere Produktionen aus weit entfernten Ländern vorstellen kann, wird beim Obscura Filmfest fündig: Filme die Spaß machen mit Ecken und Kanten, roh und kompromisslos; von kleinen fiesen Horrorfilmen bis hin zu asiatischen Schlachtenepen ist für jeden Fan etwas dabei, nur keine Langeweile.
Es fing mit kleinen, abseitigen, trashigen und verdorbenen Underground Grindhouse Filmen an, mittlerweile laufen auf dem Obscura auch kommerzielle, mittelgroße Filme die auf den großen Filmmärkten gehandelt werden.
Höhepunkte der bisherigen Festival Ausgaben waren u.a. die deutschen Premieren vom argentinischen Fantasy Sci Fi Cyberpunk Actionfilm „Daemonium“, dem ukrainischen Thriller „Egregor“, den philippinischen Zombie Reißer „Day Zero“, dem dänischen Horrorfilm „Finale“, der Geisterkomödie „Deadtectives“ und der beiden Backwoods Filme „What the Waters Left Behind“ mitsamt seiner Fortsetzung „Scars“ 5 Jahre später.
Außerdem liefen die Europa Premieren vom indonesischen Comic Superheldenfilm „Valentine“ und dem Backwoods Film „Drifter“.
Ein weiteres Highlight war das verrückte japanische Splatterfest „Kodoku – Meatball Machine“ welches auf eine lange Festivalhistorie zurückblicken kann inkl. der größten Festivals seiner Art, sowie die Universal/Blumhouse Produktion „The Hunt“.
Mit „Redbad“ und „The Great Battle“ liefen auch zwei große Schlachtenepen auf dem Obscura.
Zur deutschen Premiere vom beinharten Exploitationfilm „Trauma“ in Hannover kamen sogar Besucher extra aus dem Ruhrgebiet angereist.
Der Cowboy Backwoods Film „Lasso“ wurde nach seiner internationalen Premiere auf dem Obscura ein paar Monate später auf dem berühmten britischen Frightfest gezeigt.
2022 hatte das Obscura seine ersten beiden Langfilm Weltpremieren mit „All through the Hall“ und „Hidden in the Woods II“.
Auf jedem Obscura gab es Filmgäste die ihren Film persönlich vorgestellt haben und für ein Q&A bereit standen. Sie kamen u.a. angereist aus Irland, UK, Belgien, Finnland, Dänemark, Spanien, Griechenland, Ungarn, Niederlande, USA, Argentinien, Mexiko, Kolumbien und natürlich auch Deutschland.
2024 gab es einen Gäste Rekord mit Gästen aus 7 verschiedenen Ländern sowie mit „The Witch. Revenge“ einen ukrainischen Kriegshorrorfilm, der während des aktuellen Kriegs gedreht wurde und auch von selbigen handelt.

During this "Road Map Film Festival" many other public screenings in various nice cities and locations are included. We need many months (like 4/6 months) to select the best creative talented visionary audiovisual change makers (from the launch of the Premiere Screening Party to Winner Award Celebration Party) .
We get our time (nobody is on a rush in our team) to discover not only the real story behind the film, but also who is the filmmaker. So the film festival team follows a scheduled selection process with detailed communication techniques, with the main focus not only to better enhance the creative talent of each filmmaker, but also to help the filmmaker launch the best positive message to a worldwide audience.
And obviously all awarded films are published in the special online section called the "Hall of Fame".
This is a long lasting section where the profile of the filmmaker is promoted with the winner awarded film, during the special event called "The Dream Machine".

Das Festival „Corto di sera“ findet seit 2012 im August in Itala in der Provinz Messina statt.
Die Teilnahme am Festival ist kostenlos und steht allen italienischen und ausländischen Autoren, einzelnen Filmemachern oder Kollektiven/Verbänden offen.
- Das Festival ist ausschließlich Kurzfilmen gewidmet, die weniger als 25 Minuten dauern.
- Jedes Genre wird akzeptiert (Dokumentarfilm, Fiktion, klassische und/oder digitale Animation)
- Alle ausländischen Werke, die in einer Sprache gedreht wurden, die nicht Italienisch ist, müssen auf Italienisch untertitelt werden. Ausländische Kurzfilme ohne Untertitel werden nicht ausgewählt.
- Jeder Autor kann bis zu maximal drei Werke einreichen.
- Die Organisatoren behalten sich die Möglichkeit vor, zusätzliche Abschnitte zu erstellen.
Das Festival hat zum Ziel, die unabhängige Kurzfilmproduktion in all ihren Formen als künstlerische und ausdrucksstarke Sprache zu fördern. Ziel ist es, in Italien eine jährliche Veranstaltung zu veranstalten, bei der Filmemacher, Videomacher, Profis oder Kinoliebhaber zusammenkommen und verschiedene Erfahrungen miteinander verbinden können.

Eine unsichere Zukunft macht deutlich, dass die Flexibilität, sich anzupassen, der Schlüssel zum Überleben ist. In diesen Begriffen wird Morbido 2021 eine hybride Identität haben. Das Festival findet auf dem Pay-TV-Kanal Morbido TV statt, online, ein Drive-in und hoffentlich in Theatern, voll unter Beachtung der sanitären Richtlinien von Mexiko-Stadt.
Aufgrund der Pandemie und der derzeitigen Sanitärbeschränkungen können wir weder internationale noch nationale Gäste beherbergen, aber wir betonen, dass alle unsere Vorführungen von Q/A Sessions mit den Filmemachern in unserer Auswahl begleitet werden. Diese Sessions werden während des Festivals auf Morbido TV und seine App übertragen.

The Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg is characteristic for a unique atmosphere – a mixture of relaxed fun, tourism, rhythm and films. Hence the Festival quickly became the favourite of film workers and audience. Those who once feel the scent of the Mediterranean in this little town of film, shall always return to it. In front of the hall where the projections are going on there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there is always fun and dancing to the rhythms of urban music till late hours. The Festival is the initiator of the new relations within the world of culture, there is no elitism in it, no VIP boxes, no privileges. Within the last ten years we have succeeded to create an atmosphere in which no one feels alienated, inferior or less invited to be a part of the event.
MFF is the oldest festival of documentary film in the region considering that only documentary films compete here and the largest part of the program is based on documentaries. This is one of the rare festivals that has money prizes for the winners of the festival and in that way helps them to create new film projects. The School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers is being organized within the very MFF. A short documentary film is created every year at the MFF workshop, which we screen at the closure of the festival.
Besides the film projections there are also other programs offered at MFF. First of all the touristic ones, where a new branch, unknown untill now in Hercegovina, is developed – the cultural tourism. Within the tourism part there are the tours visiting the most interesting sites in Hercegovina which might be used as the locations for films shooting. Visits to the most significant touristic potentials of Hercegovina (Međugorje and Mostar) are also organized. We meet the guests of the festival to the exceptional archaeological localities and introduce them with the potentials of ethno tourism. In cooperation with the Tourist Board we get our guests acquainted with the Hercegovinian gastronomy – an extraordinary cuisine that has preserved the ancient taste and has not subdued to the modern culinary novelties, and belongs to a very healthy nutrition.
Mediterranean Film Festival lasts for six days, and all our guests, never mind from which part of the Mediterranean they might come, shall wish to come back again here.
NOCTURNA MADRID, International Fantastic Film Festival ist das wichtigste Festival seiner Art in der Stadt Madrid.
The Villamayor de Cine European Short Film Festival was born in 2008 in the charming village of Villamayor de Santiago, located in the province of Cuenca. Its main mission from the beginning has been to create a space where short films take center stage and young directors have a chance to shine.
Every August, the festival comes to life through the dedication of a team of over forty young professionals. Under the guidance of its founder, Javier Alonso, they work tirelessly to bring the best of European short cinema to Villamayor de Santiago.
Renowned Spanish actor Jesús Guzmán served as the festival’s Honorary President until his passing in 2023. In his memory, the award for Best Fiction Short Film now bears his name, keeping his legacy alive in the film world.
The festival is hosted by acclaimed actor and presenter Luis Mottola, whose professionalism and charisma add great value to the event. Mottola holds a special affection for Villamayor, and the town, in turn, holds him in high regard. @luismottola
