Das AVANCA Film Festival wurde 2011 im Wettbewerb der vom ICA/Kulturministerium gesponserten unterstützenden Filmfestivals mit dem ersten Platz ausgezeichnet.
In all den Jahren wurde ein zusätzliches thematisches Programm eingeführt, das der Vorführung bedeutender Werke des zeitgenössischen Kinos Raum bietet, die angemessen auf Anliegen und/oder klar definierte Ziele zugeschnitten sind.
Die AVANCA ist als Ort für Workshops bekannt, die von Persönlichkeiten des Weltkinos geleitet werden, und da sie mehr als eine „Meisterklasse“ ist, hat sie eine einzigartige Kinopraxis ermöglicht. Jedes Jahr veranstalten wir Workshops, an denen Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa teilnehmen. Die Medien haben geschrieben, dass dies der größte europäische Bereich für professionelle Workshops im Bereich Kino ist.
AVANCA ist das einzige Festival, das einen internationalen Kinowettbewerb mit Werken aus den Bereichen Fernsehen, Video und neue Medien veranstaltet, wobei das besondere Anliegen darin besteht, die besten Weltproduktionen jeder Kategorie auszustellen.
Seit der ersten Ausgabe akzeptiert das Festival nur noch nie dagewesene Filme in Portugal.
Der Wettbewerb zur Weltpremiere ist in unserem Land einzigartig und war nur möglich, weil Avanca zu einem Treffpunkt für unveröffentlichte Autoren und Filme von großer Qualität wurde. Filme, die unabhängig von der eingereichten Kategorie auf dem Festival ihre Weltpremiere feiern, nehmen ebenfalls am Weltpremierenwettbewerb teil.
AVANCA ist das portugiesische Festival mit dem höchsten Anteil an weltweit unveröffentlichten Filmen, die hier zum ersten Mal gezeigt werden.
Seit 2010 organisieren wir die internationale Filmkonferenz AVANCA | CINEMA, die zur wichtigsten Konferenz im Bereich Kino auf der Iberischen Halbinsel geworden ist. Diese Konferenz bringt Redner und Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt zusammen.
Thematische Ausstellungen, Buchausgaben, bibliographische Präsentationen und verschiedene Projekte haben die letzten 10 Jahre von AVANCA mit der Qualität geprägt, die das Festival und die Teilnehmer natürlich erwarten.
Die Discover Film Awards sind eines der größten Kurzfilmfestivals der Welt mit über 5.000 Einreichungen aus mehr als 100 Ländern, Weltpremieren auf dem Londoner Leicester Square mit gepackten Kino-Zuschauern, Filmemacher-Partys, Red Carpet Events, Drehbuchplatz-Runden Tischen mit Finanzmitteln für neue Projekte und einen jährlichen Geldpreis von über $50.000, einschließlich des prestigeträchtigen Craghoppers Film Prize.
Das Filmfestival wird konsequent in die Top 50 der Welt gewählt. Das Festival erstreckt sich über 5 Tage im Oktober 2019 und umfasst öffentliche Kinovorführungen im Prince Charles Kino am Londoner Leicester Square. Discover.Film sucht nach den besten Kurzfilmen: Geschichten, die einen Blick auf das Leben der Filmemacher teilen; was sie stört oder zum Lachen bringt, von Ungerechtigkeiten, von ungesungenen Helden, von dem Ernsten, dem Bizarren, dem Komischen oder einfach nur, wo die Fantasie der Filmemacher sie hinnehmen. Alle Arten von Kurzfilm sind herzlich eingeladen, mit Auszeichnungen für: Action, Drama, Sci-Fiction, Docs, Horror, Comedy, Experimental und alles dazwischen (eine vollständige Liste der Preiskategorien finden Sie unten). Alle Filme müssen unter 45 Minuten sein.
Ein wichtiger unterstützender Partner des Festivals ist Craghoppers, die globale Outdoor-Bekleidungsmarke, die den Craghoppers Film Prize vergibt, einen der größten Geldpreise für Kurzfilme. Der erste Preis ist £20.000 ($26.000) in bar, ein zweiter Preis von £5.000 ($6.500) und zusätzliche Auszeichnungen in Höhe von £5.000 ($6.500) für den besten Social Impact Film und £2.000 ($2.600) für den besten Studentenfilm. Darüber hinaus gibt es verschiedene Sachpreise von Sponsoren.
Ausgewählte Filme erhalten die Möglichkeit, verschiedene kostenpflichtige Vertriebsmöglichkeiten wie internationales Fernsehen, große Züge, Hotels und Fluggesellschaften. Der Vertrieb ist optional und ganz bis zum Filmemacher.

Das Sicilymovie — Agrigento Film Festival ist ein Festival für Spielfilme, Kurzfilme, Dokumentarfilme, Videoclips, Spot- und Animationskurzfilme, das von der Southmovie Association ins Leben gerufen wurde. Es wurde mit dem Ziel gegründet, Freiluftkino für alle ins Herz Siziliens zu bringen: das eindrucksvolle Tal der Tempel von Agrigento, einer Stadt, die 2025 zur italienischen Kulturhauptstadt ernannt wurde. Die Themen, die in den Werken von Regisseuren aus aller Welt behandelt werden, sind vielfältig und lehrreich.
Die neunte Ausgabe von Sicilymovie richtet sich an die besten Produktionen und den Vertrieb von Kurz- und Dokumentarfilmen der Welt, die um die Goldene Demetra konkurrieren werden, die repräsentative Statuette des Festivals, die an das antike Griechenland erinnert, das kulturelle Symbol des antiken Akragas, die Stadt Agrigento.
Das Projekt wird vom Archäologischen und Landschaftspark Valle dei Templi von Agrigento, der Gemeinde Agrigento, der Sicily Film Commission und der Tourismusabteilung der Region Sizilien unterstützt und gesponsert. Der Archäologie- und Landschaftspark Valle dei Templi ist etwa 1300 Hektar groß und hier befinden sich die Überreste der antiken Stadt Akragas und der Umgebung bis zum Meer. Das Tal der Tempel wurde 1997 von der Unesco zum „Weltkulturerbe“ erklärt. Heute hat das Tal der Tempel mehr als eine Million Besucher pro Jahr.

Wir sind ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das das spirituelle Kino mit einer universellen Sprache zum Ausdruck bringt, das sich mit inneren Angelegenheiten des Menschen befasst, ein Kino des Unsichtbaren, das die Essenz des Tiefen und Transzendenten in introspektiven und reflektierenden Geschichten einfängt; mit Fragen und Antworten über das Leben. Jede Geschichte ist eine von innen heraus geerntete Frucht und symbolisiert 9 spirituelle Werte, die für uns grundlegend sind: Liebe, Freude, Frieden, Geduld, Sanftheit, Freundlichkeit, Treue, Demut und Selbstbeherrschung.
Das 14. Internationale Filmfestival FICCI-ON - Ciudad Rodrigo zielt darauf ab, pädagogische, soziale und spirituelle Filme zu fördern, die auf der ganzen Welt gedreht wurden.
Das Thema des Festivals wird daher pädagogisch, sozial und werteorientiert sein und all jene Filme einschließen, die die Entwicklung von Kindern in all ihren Aspekten fördern.
Werteorientierte Filme, die sich mit dem Thema Menschenrechte sowie dem interkulturellen Dialog befassen. Es wird auch Platz für Filme geben, die sich mit ethnografischen Themen, sozialer Denunziation oder Engagement für die Entwicklung einer Kultur des Friedens befassen. Was spirituelle Themen anbelangt, so ist dies ein sehr breiter Bereich, in den religiöse und/oder spirituelle Filme aufgenommen werden, unabhängig von der Konfession und dem Glauben des Films und seiner Autoren.
Silent Movie World Festival is the young but very important independent silent movie film festival in the world. We accept movies of any genres & duration.
The festival has stimulated and assisted the process of recovering and restoring the silent film heritage, which is the vital role of the world’s film archives. Lost films have been rediscovered, orphan reels have been identified, and chance personal encounters have led to restoration projects.
Silent Movie World Festival showcases features, shorts and music videos by filmmakers from all over the world to an audience of film executives and buyers, journalists, film fans and filmmakers. Along with screenings, there are seminars, workshops and parties to allow everyone the chance to share our passion for silent film.

CONSTRUIR CINE: INTERNATIONALES ARBEITSFILMFESTIVAL AUSGABE 2024 - OFFIZIELLE WETTBEWERBSBEDINGUNGEN
Construir Cine ist das einzige internationale Labor Film Festival in Argentinien. Die nächste Ausgabe findet im Mai 2024 in Buenos Aires im Hybridmodus (persönlich und online) statt.
Construir Cine feiert das nationale und internationale Kino mit dem Ziel, Filmemacher anzuerkennen und zu unterstützen und das Wissen, die Zugänglichkeit und das Verständnis für soziale und berufliche Probleme in einer breiten und vielfältigen Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern.
Construir Cine ist eine Veranstaltung, die vom Fernsehsender UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers — im Folgenden der Veranstalter genannt — mit Unterstützung des National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) und seiner On-Demand-Plattform CINE.AR organisiert und von UOCRA CULTURA und Construyendo Arte gesponsert wird. Dieses Festival ist Teil des Global Labor Film Festival, einer Organisation, die Arbeitsfilmfestivals aus der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt, und gehört zu „RAFMA“: Argentine Network of Audiovisual Festivals and Exhibitions.

Das International Gay, Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Lima — OutfestPerú — hat seine Ausschreibung für die XXI. Ausgabe eröffnet. Die Werke dürfen vor der Feier des Festivals nicht in kommerziellen Theatern ausgestellt, im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt oder der Öffentlichkeit im Internet oder anderen Fenstern auf peruanischem Gebiet zugänglich gemacht worden sein und müssen nach 2023 urheberrechtlich geschützt sein. Spiel- und Kurzfilme müssen in Peru möglichst unveröffentlicht sein, obwohl dies nicht exklusiv ist, sondern sehr positiv bewertet wird. OutfestPerú behält sich das Recht vor, Filme, die diese Bedingungen nicht erfüllen, aber nicht im Wettbewerb stehen, in das Programm aufzunehmen.
Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) is an award winning organization with its mission being to foster appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film. In 2014 AIFF was awarded the Community Recognition Award by the Arlington Martin Luther King Committee, in 2013 the Alan McClennen Community Arts Award by the Arlington Center for the Arts and the Gold Star Award by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Unser Schatten kann ein echtes Problem sein.
Es ist die Seite unserer Menschlichkeit, die wir lieber verborgen halten und die uns dazu bringt, fragwürdig zu handeln.
Dieser Schatten hat uns zum Teil dazu veranlasst, schreckliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu haben.
Entwaldung, Ölverschmutzungen, Verschmutzung von Böden und Meeren, Ausrottung von Arten, Verletzung indigener Rechte und Ermordung von Umweltschützern.
Dieser individuelle und kollektive Schatten wird von den großen Städten auf unsere Ökosysteme projiziert und steht unter dem Schutz staatlicher Legalität und privater Investitionen zugunsten von „Fortschritt und Industrialisierung“.
In Zeiten, in denen das Ungleichgewicht, das wir in der Umwelt verursacht haben, wie Klimakatastrophen und Veruntreuungen durch die Natur auf uns zurückkommt, liegt es an uns, es zu wagen, auf diesen Schatten zurückzublicken.
Wir haben die Verantwortung, die Auswirkungen zu verstehen, diejenigen aufzuzeigen, die sie vorhersagen, und Vorschriften zu fordern, um diejenigen zu schützen, die davon betroffen sind.
Sie sagen, dass der erste Schritt zur Lösung eines Problems darin besteht, es zu identifizieren, und heute versuchen wir mit Hilfe des Kinos, unser Handeln anzuerkennen und das Fortschreiten der Folgen für unsere einzigartige natürliche Umwelt zu verhindern.

UNSEREN SCHATTEN ERKENNEN
CineEco - Internationales Umweltfilmfestival von Serra da Estrela, organisiert von der Gemeinde Seia, ist das einzige Umweltfestival in Portugal, das seit 1995 ununterbrochen stattfindet.
Unter dem Motto Filme, die die Welt verändern, ist das Festival ein Treffpunkt für Fachleute, Forscher und die Öffentlichkeit. Es hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die wichtigsten Umweltprobleme von heute, die von Filmemachern in das Festival eingebracht wurden, sichtbar zu machen und einen Raum für Reflexion und Aktion zu bieten, indem qualitativ hochwertiges Kino sowie wenig bekannte und alternative Kinematografien im Vergleich zum traditionellen Markt angeboten werden. Es ist ein Festival, das die Öffentlichkeit für das Kino, seine Geschichte und Ästhetik sowie Umweltfragen sensibilisiert.
"Corto Sordi", ovvero un premio dedicato al grande attore romano. Il concorso avrà il suo epilogo a luglio, ma già adesso la macchina organizzativa è partita.
Nato nel 2013, in occasione del 10° anniversario dalla morte del grande Albertone, il premio è promosso e coordinato dall'associazione Utopià di Grottaglie con l'intento di sostenere e incentivare quanti credono e vivono nel mondo della recitazione e dello spettacolo con capacità, talento e impegno professionale. Quest'anno, l'iniziativa vanta l'egida della Fondazione Alberto Sordi, ente morale nato nel 1992 proprio per volontà dell'attore romano, al fine di promuovere la ricerca scientifica sulle patologie dell'età avanzata e l'assistenza qualificata alle persone anziane, nel rispetto prima e nella valorizzazione poi della dignità della persona umana e del suo diritto alla vita e alla salute. L'evento ha inoltre ricevuto il patrocinio del Comune di Grottaglie e della Regione Puglia.
L'appuntamento per il premio “CortoSordi” è per il 19 luglio prossimo nell'atrio del primo circolo didattico “Edmondo De Amicis” di Grottaglie e sarà presentato dalla conduttrice di Telenorba, Daniela Mazzacane. Molte le novità in programma che saranno illustrate per tappe nella sezione "Comunicati Stampa" man mano che ci si avvicina all'apertura del bando.

The 2019 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions. The 2018 Directors Circle Festival Of Shorts has officially opened our call for entries and will accept submissions internationally of short length films in any and all genres including Narrative, Documentary, Horror, Experimental, Avant-garde, Animation, Religious/Spiritual, Gay/Lesbian and all genres of Music Videos for our 2018 festival.

Our unique film festival reaches new heights internationally for independent film festivals presenting our films in a way unlike any other film festival in the world via our online screening platform and theater system. Viewing interactively online allows independent filmmakers and fans to take pleasure in the films worldwide on the go, from work and from the comfort of their own homes. In the technologically advanced world we live in, where communication and convenience MUST be at the tips of our fingers, we knew this was the next progressive step in film festivals.
Since debuting our fest in 2010 we have gained even more recognition among the film viewing public and filmmakers, not to mention production houses and distributors, because they no longer have to travel to find the next film that will make Hollywood sit up and take notice. Currently, convenience is the name of the game, especially for the independent film industry.
The 2018 DCSF will host a live film festival event in the great City of Erie Pennsylvania that will screen the best and most innovative films of the 2018 season. Housed in the historic Renaissance Centre located in beautiful downtown Erie, the 2018 DCSF live Festival will run consecutively with the opening weekend of the Festival.
Our online festival is presented in a virtual theater setting that will allow users to watch the films while the films remain completely safe from download or reproduction.
Films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and the HTML codes of the films, if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites. The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film, always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
We made the decision to screen films online because of two reasons, first we understand that filmmakers around the world pour not only all of their time and heart into their work but also most of their money. Because of financial and time constraints independent filmmakers most times find it difficult to attend the screenings of their film. Now not only can the filmmaker attend, but all of their friends and family members can as well. In addition, the number of attendees to the festival is literally limitless giving the filmmaker much more exposure for their work.
In addition, you hear so much about the environment and global warming it got us thinking. When you realize how much power is used during the film fest, electricity for the building, natural gas for heat and the gasoline the people use to get to the fest it left one hell of a carbon footprint. By doing the whole festival online it actually helps cut down on greenhouse gasses.
The DCSF recognizes Filmmakers for outstanding achievements in their craft through creativity and imagination, while always paving the way and opening doors for the very talented Filmmakers world-wide.
