The New Urbanism Film Festival is a film festival with a purpose. We want to encourage audiences to think about how they can make their cities and towns a better place. If your film addresses issues in that area, we'd like to see it.

After the screenings, audiences are invited to dialogue with leading urban thinkers about the issues raised during the movie and discuss current local projects.
The festival also offers lots of special events, workshops, tours and classes that help audiences take lessons from the film and apply them to their hometown. We strongly encourage filmmakers to attend the festival.

Das Dieciminuti Film Festival wurde 2005 von IndieGesta gegründet. Es konnte schnell zu einer der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen für Kurzfilme in Italien werden.
Das Festival, an dessen ersten 19 Ausgaben mehr als 18.000 Kurzfilme mit insgesamt fast 23.000 Zuschauern teilnahmen, ist in verschiedene Wettbewerbssektionen gegliedert: Offizielle Auswahl (für Kurzfilme bis zu 10 Minuten, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 veröffentlicht wurden), Extralarge (für Kurzfilme zwischen 10 und 15 Minuten, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 veröffentlicht wurden), Animationen (Animationen für bis zu 10 Minuten, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 veröffentlicht wurden), Doc10 (Dokumentarfilme für bis zu 10 Minuten (veröffentlicht nach dem 1. Januar 2024), Musikvideoclip (Videoclips für bis zu 10 Minuten, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 veröffentlicht wurden), Visti da Vicino (für Kurzfilme bis zu 10 Minuten, die von Regisseuren veröffentlicht wurden, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 aus der Provinz Frosinone kommen).
In den Wettbewerbssektionen tritt er der Dieciminuti Academy bei, einer Filmschule, die junge Menschen aus unserer Provinz dazu bringt, von Grund auf eine Kurzfiktion oder einen Animationsfilm zu kreieren. Das Einzigartige an dem Festival auf nationaler Ebene ist, dass es eine echte Schule für junge Leute ist, die die Welt des Kinos erkunden möchten. Sehr geschätzt wird auch die Sektion Esplorazioni, die es den Zuschauern ermöglicht, mit dem Kurzfilm, der jedes Jahr aus einem anderen Land kommt, in Kontakt zu treten. In den letzten Jahren waren auf dem Festival die unveröffentlichten Kurzfilme der Meister des japanischen Animationsfilms von Studio Ghibli unter der Regie von Hayao Miyazaki, die animierten Kurzfilme des Tehran Film Festivals, die Kurzfilme von Georges Méliès, die Avantgarden und die Web-Serie zu sehen. Während der 13. Ausgabe wurde auch die Futurama-Abteilung eröffnet, die Meisterkursen für Studierende gewidmet ist.
Das Social Film Festival ArteSIA wird vom gemeinnützigen Kulturverein „Libero Teatro“ organisiert.

Studierende der oben genannten Universitäten werden als Praktikanten an der Organisation der fünfzehnten Ausgabe teilnehmen.

Das Social Film Festival ArteSIA beabsichtigt, das Kino sowohl in Italien als auch im Ausland zu fördern. Das Festival ist ein Schaufenster für die Förderung von Filmen von kulturellem Interesse, die dem unabhängigen und dem unabhängigen Kino angehören.

The ficmonterrey ist ständig auf der Suche nach menschlichen Erzählungen, die sich bei ihrer Auswahl auf Ansichten stützen, die aus einer Welt hervorgehen, die sich in ständiger Bewegung und Transformation, in Vernetzung und Innovation befindet.

Eines der Hauptinteressen des Organisationsteams von ficmonterrey ist es, neue Perspektiven zu fördern, und zwar nicht aufgrund ihres Alters, sondern weil sie jung sind, weil sie frisch sind, kritisch bleiben, sich mit Innovation verwirklichen und verschiedene Risiken eingehen.
Das allgemeine Ziel von ficmonterrey ist es, in Nuevo León ein persönliches und ein virtuelles Publikum in ganz Mexiko zusammenzubringen, bevor eine Auswahl an zeitgenössischem mexikanischem und internationalem Kino präsentiert wird, die von Filmemachern mit unterschiedlichen, frischen, riskanten, kritischen und innovativen Visionen geschaffen wurden. Named one of MOVIEMAKER MAGAZINE's 20 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee, the event runs deeper than the marathon film-watching that fills guests' schedules from dawn until, well, dawn. Everyone you see on the sidewalks, in the restaurants and bars makes, cares, or has an opinion about film. It is the serendipitous encounters and ensuing discussions with the filmmakers and fellow passholders that makes the weekend so inspiring, affecting, and infectious.
Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.

INTERNATIONALES FESTIVAL FÜR DOKUMENTAR- UND KURZFILM VON BILBAO
Es wurde im Jahr 1.959 ins Leben gerufen und von der Kulturabteilung des Rathauses von Bilbao organisiert. Das ZINEBI wird vom 8. bis 15. November 2024 seine 66. Ausgabe feiern.
Es ist das einzige internationale Klasse-A-Festival in Spanien in der Kategorie Dokumentar- und Kurzfilm, das seit 1974 von der FIAPF anerkannt wurde. Es wurde von der Hollywood Academy als Qualifikant für die Oscars unter den Kurzfilmen der offiziellen Preisverleihung und als Qualifikant von der Spanish Academy für die BAFTA Awards und die GOYA Awards anerkannt.
ZINEBI ist ein Festival, das die aktuellsten Formen und Formate anbietet, innovativ und suggestiv, und das immer wieder auf aufstrebende Autoren setzt. Das Programm des internationalen Programms (Dokumentarfilm, Animation und Fiktion) und die Sektion ZIFF-ZINEBI FIRST FILM, die Erstlingswerken gewidmet ist, sind ihr eigentliches Unterscheidungsmerkmal. Montecatini Internationales Kurzfilmfestival, promosso dalla Federazione Italiana Cineclub (Fedic), con le sue 68 edizioni è uno dei festival di cortometraggi più longevi in Europa.
All'inizio, era principalmente destinato alle opere nazionali, ma a partire dagli anni '90, quando il concorso Nazionale spostato in un'altra piccola città della Toscana, San Giovanni Valdarno, Montecatini si è affermata come vetrina di riferimento a livello internazionale, desiderosa di presentare un panorama di nuove produzioni incentrate su diversi generi e tendenze.

The Erie International Film Festival Call For Entries is now open to the US and International filmmakers, and we shall accept all genres of film including Narrative Features, Narrative Shorts, Animation Features and Shorts, Experimental Features and Shorts, and all forms of Horror, Suspense and Thriller films of Short and Feature length, all lengths of Comedies and Documentaries, along with Feature and Short lengths of GLBT and Religious/Spirituals films, along with Music Videos for the 2018 festival.
Our festival is seeking the best films that the world has to offer while working to give new and veteran Independent Filmmakers the attention they deserve.

Much like with the digital technology that has swept independent film festivals throughout the world since the early 2000s, for many reasons the virtual theater is quickly becoming the first, best choice for festivals, and the new home of Independent film screening worldwide.
The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Our virtual theater allows the filmmaker’s work to be showcased to the world with the highest levels of security and presentation quality. Unlike any online screening system in the world, ours never allows films to be copied, downloaded, or reproduced in any way, nor can the HTML code of any film be copied and pasted into any other site successfully. No film launched in our virtual theater can play or even appear on any other website.
It was with much time and expense that this state-of-the-art and revolutionary online screening platform was developed, always keeping both the Filmmaker’s peace of mind.
DocsDF, Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México, es desde su fundación en 2006, un evento anual dedicado a promover y difundir el cine documental contemporáneo, estimular la formación de nuevos cineastas y documentalistas y promover la creación y el desarrollo de proyectos documentales en México e Iberoamérica.
The PDXtreme Film Fest is the best damn genre festival Portland Oregon has ever seen! Taking place over 3 days at the historic Laurelhurst Theater, we showcase horror, crime, dark comedy, and everything in-between. Tales of the grotesque, the limits of the psychological, and bumps in the night whatever the cause! Does it take place in space? That's cool too.
This will be our fourth year! Continuing the traditions of the first 3 years, you can expect trophies, free beer for attending filmmakers, and no repertory films. In our first season we played 32 short films, and 13 feature films. Last year we screened 54 total films. It’s more badassness than should be allowed in one weekend!
Screening takes place at the Laurelhurst Theater, a legit theater that serves beer, wine, and pizza. In less than a minute you can walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, and other examples of Portland life.
We promise a rollicking good time and a slate packed with great films. We can't do that without the filmmakers, so submit your films now! International films accepted. Diversity and originality are not only welcome, but also encouraged. Absolutely no ratings restrictions, ever.
