From the 7th September until 22th 2015 Berliner Fenster and Seoul Metro in cooperation with SESIFF (Seoul) will run the 12th International Short Film Festival for 'Ultra Shorts' in Berlin's and Seoul´s underground trains. On over 6,100 monitors in Berlin and Seoul subways, 2.7 million passengers turn into an underground movie audience for two weeks, and can vote for their favorite of the 26 films.

Fundado em 2002, Yogyakarta, Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) é o primeiro festival de documentários na Indonésia e no Sudeste Asiático, com foco no desenvolvimento do documentário como meio de expressão e ecossistema de conhecimento, através da exposição, educação e arquivamento.
Com base na noção nascida em uma conversa leve entre um grupo de jovens, procurou-se explorar o potencial bruto do cinema indonésio: o meio documental. Certas características diferenciam os documentários de outros produtos audiovisuais, um lugar significativo como mídia que educa, reflexiva, transcende o tempo e o espaço.
Em meio à forte corrente dos meios de comunicação, os documentários desempenham seu próprio papel como mídia independente e aspiracional.

The Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival is launching its 9th annual celebration of bringing strong, independent documentary films and filmmakers to West Sonoma County. Screening 71 films in 4 days during the 2015 festival, with over 90 filmmakers and guests in attendance, we had another incredible weekend of films and intense documentary discussion. 2016 is already shaping up to be another great festival. Our next festival will be held March 17-20, 2016. No nosso primeiro ano, tivemos a primeira exibição de Los Angeles do Silver Linings Playbook. No nosso segundo ano, apresentamos Ernie LaPointe, o Grande Neto do Touro Sentado. Em 2015, comemoramos o 20º Aniversário dos Suspeitos de Costume com o diretor Bryan Singer. Também tivemos dois curtas-metragens ou ganharam ou foram nomeados para um Oscar! Em 2017, realizamos o 30º Aniversário da sexta-feira 13 com o diretor Sean S. Cunningham. Estamos muito entusiasmados com o nosso sétimo ano!
O prolífico escritor e poeta americano Charles Bukowski chamou San Pedro de casa por 15 anos. Alguns dos primeiros curtas-metragens de DW Griffith foram filmados em San Pedro. Hoje em dia você é mais provável encontrar equipes de filmagem para NCIS, Mad Men e Dexter. Outros filmes filmados em San Pedro incluem 'King Kong', 'Chinatown', 'Point Break', 'Silence of the Lambs', 'The Usual Suspeits', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Titanic', '500 Days of Summer', e uma tonelada mais. A SPIFF está entusiasmada por apresentar a nossa 5ª edição numa cidade com uma história cinematográfica tão rica.
ABOUT FESTIVAL
Initiated by Istanbul University Faculty of Law - ‘The International Crime and Punishment Film Festival’ will be held between the dates of 16-22 October 2015 in Istanbul.
Festival aims to draw attention to the relationship between cinema and justice within an international organization and is considered to be unique as it will be held for the very first time in the world. During the Festival, approximately 100 films – amongst which are feature films, documentary and short films- will meet the audience.
The Festival will screen the latest movies of acclaimed film-makers as well as recent independent and examples from both Turkish and World Cinema. During the festival, panel discussions on cinema and justice, exhibitions, workshops and concerts will take place in addition to the movie screenings.
O Anima-São - Festival Internacional de Animação da cidade de São Gonçalo (RJ) - é uma atividade para congregar todos os amantes do Cinema de Animação na Região do Recôncavo da Baía de Guanabara.
O Cinema (a chamada 7ª Arte) tem uma divisão, o Cinema de Animação, que por sua vez se sub-divide em Animação 2D, Animação 3D, “Pixilation”, “Stop-Motion” e várias outras técnicas. Uma produção pode ser feita com uma ou várias destas. O uso da Animação é tão difundido que nem se percebe sua ação nas produções audiovisuais contemporâneas.
O Festival Anima-São tem por objetivo demonstrar a produção atual dessas técnicas, utilizadas por vários produtores no Mundo inteiro. O Festival Anima-São traz para a cidade de São Gonçalo o melhor da Animação Nacional e Internacional.
As Oficinas do Festival são ocasiões de contato entre as pessoas e as técnicas. São oportunidades de mostrar ou mesmo descobrir seu talento próprio.
As Mesas de Debate do Festival são momentos de ver de perto os produtores renomados de filmes e representantes de empresas que produzem o que vimos na Mídia. Nessas ocasiões a interatividade da platéia é o elemento mais importante.

The Reel Youth Film Festival is a touring festival of the world's best youth-made short films. Chosen by a youth selection panel, it is a diverse collection that includes all genres, celebrates youth culture, and showcases a new generation of film makers.
The festival kicks off annually at the Vancouver International Film Festival (Canada) and goes on to tour in partnership with screening partners across Canada and around the world. Overall winners are determined by cumulative audience votes.
The eighth edition of Ventana Oscura, will take place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October 2016 at the Forum of FNAC Callao within the events of the Madrid Gothic Week VIII. During the event the selected works will be screened, and this event, only a sample and in no case a competitive contest.

Multivision Festival is an annual event in St.Petersburg, Russia, held at November. The festival includes competition in animation shorts and video installations evaluated by a professional jury.

Multivision Festival aims to create an innovative dialogue with its audience, to integrate animation art in the environment of the modern megapolis. Multivision is known by its open-air summer projects: the public screening of the special competition programs at the erected parts of drawbridges on the Neva River in the center of St.Petersburg, from 2007. The festival program is projected on the giant screen 400 square meters attached to the bridge surface. From 2011 a street cinema competition is a part of main festival, it is held in summer, in the framework of Multivision’s public art project graFFFest, on evident weather reasons. Croydon International Film Festival is a small independent short film festival run by volunteers on the outskirts of London. We screen short 10 minute or less Documentary & Animated films with a factual theme, with a focus on quirky entertaining true stories.
The CIFF festival is run by Donna Lipowitz, an Independent Documentary Filmmaker, and a small team of volunteers. Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries.
