National and international feature films and short film programs bring a new light to the old-fashioned Christmas subject. Unconventional Christmas movies come to the foreground. The International Film Festival of Leon IFFOL, invites all filmmakers to participate in the IFFOL Official Call 2024 from April 1 to August 05 of this year, being able to apply with fiction, non-fiction or animation feature film, short film or short documentary to be part of the 10th Consecutive Edition to be held between October 30 to November 03 of this year. The ninth edition of 24 Risas por Segundo, Comedy Film Festival, will be held on May 6 to 11 in Mexico City and that is why we CALL Mexican and foreign filmmakers to register their comedy films (short films and feature films) to be part of our programme.
The Trailer Film Festival is a unique event. Only trailers are screened and the audience is exclusively film industry.
The goal is for the industry to request the film or script attached to the trailer.
100 producers, distributors and studio execs, including Fox, Paramount and Disney, attended our last festival. 45 filmmakers received requests for their films or scripts. Some had multiple requests which brought the total to 95.
Netflix, Amazon, Sony and Paramount have already agreed to join us on May 21st, 2020. New attendees will be announced monthly.
Trailers for both completed projects and scripts are eligible. They can be for films, scripted and unscripted TV shows, books, web series or games.
Five judges will review the trailers. The 60 with the highest score will be selected. They'll be available to the industry online for a month after the festival. 25 of those trailers will be featured in the actual event which will be held in a Beverly Hills screening room.

This year celebrates its 26th Edition. It is a Municipal Festival in which €12,500 in prizes are distributed.
The Official Section is made up of 15 works that compete for the different awards of the Jury and Public
The Parallel Section is made up of the works that will be screened during the first 3 days of the celebration and compete for four prizes from the public.
The projections are held outdoors in different spaces of the city with free admission where the public has a leading role since it awards half of the Festival prizes, 6 out of 12.

A Femme International Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on platforming women filmmakers “by women, for everyone”. Our Festival was created in 2005, when it became apparent that there was a need to enhance women behind the camera as Directors, Producers, and Writers. We were the first in Los Angeles to host such an event and film festival empowering women. All those that followed are just duplicates of the movement we started over a decade ago.
Through our Partners and Sponsors we have provided one-one-one meetings with our filmmakers or helped secure financing. CBS Entertainment Diversity Department and Sony Entertainment met with a selected group of our filmmakers with the goal to offer potential employment and/or placement as a director or writer under their diversity department. It is through our direct efforts that these opportunities are being secured for our LA Femme Int. Film Festival Filmmakers.
As LA Femme moves into the next few years, it plans to expand its platform so that more women in the industry and from around the world can have the benefit of taking their film to the next level through increased distribution outlets, more key positions in the entertainment industry and more recognition as artistic creators emerging as leaders in the industry.
