The Shawna Shea Film Festival (SSFF) is a fringe independent international film festival. We love quirky and experimental films as much as we love straight narratives. All are welcome.

10th EUREKA UNIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL 2025
The conditions described below correspond to the requirements proposed by EUREKA University Film Festival and its programming team. The registration and selection of audiovisual pieces sent by those students and filmmakers who would like to be part of the official programming depend on these requirements, bases and conditions.
EUREKA University Film Festival is an event initially organized by students from the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano of Bogota and students from different universities in Colombia. The festival will take place from October 14 to 18, 2025 in the city of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
The call for entries will be open from April 10th until June 03rd, 2025. The only platform we will enable to receive the audiovisual material will be :

The cinema festival Fantasmagoria- Festival de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de Medellín - reaches its 7th edition. Our competition opens to the world and the city of Medellín to explore genre cinema and reflect on these thematic. The festival has several sections of short films and feature films to embrace the fantastic and horror genre spectrum. Short films and feature films will be selected from any nationality, produced in 2024 or 2025 which have yet to be seen in Medellín, Colombia. City of Angels Women’s Film Festival provides an arena for female filmmakers to share experiences, showcase their work and build relationships.
City of Angels Women's Film Festival is now in its third season. It was launched successfully in 2019 with the goal of empowering and connecting women and those identifying as female in the film industry and showcasing extraordinary films made by women, both in Los Angeles and globally.
COAWFF is focused on honoring films that have been either directed, produced, edited or include a cast driven by women. (For example, we will accept a film directed by a man if the film was either written or produced by a woman or includes a female driven cast or female protagonist.) The script category is open to both men and women.(Scripts written by men must feature a female protagonist.) We also welcome LGBQT+ themed films and scripts. We encourage student filmmakers to submit their work as well and also accept experimental films both feature and short length.

It is welcome any person (film director, production or distribution) who has the legal control of the work or works submitted may participate.
REQUIREMENTS:
− Short films must have been produced in 2024 or 2025.
− Short films shall not last more than 20 minutes.
− Every filmmaker may submit as many works as desired.
− Productions not filmed in Spanish as main language must be submitted with Spanish subtitles for their exhibition.
− Filmmakers will be owners of the legal rights to their works and the responsible of the authorship rights of the short films.
