15th Medium-Length International Film Festival LA CABINA, taking place in València (Spain) between 8th and 18th November 2022.
The Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebrates its 22nd edition this year, and it does so with a change of venue, since the Guadalajara City Council has decided to censor it and cancel the agreement. Therefore, starting this year the festival will take place in Azuqueca de Henares. Throughout these years, we have tried to bring our audience the best of the world of short films, with social, protest or simply humanist content. All genres fit, as long as violence is not advocated. The FESCIGU is a preselection festival for the Goya Awards.
OJO DE PESCADO International Film Festival for Children and Youth is an annual event in Chile that gathers the most recent and exclusive film and TV contents from all over the world aimed at children and youth.

Call for entries for the seventh edition of the International Video Art Festival Over the Real. The Festival presents the most significant lines of research that emerged in recent years in the international audiovisual arts. Over The Real aims to create an opportunity for meeting and promotion for artists who work in the field of video art which favors visibility and contacts with the public, with curators, art critics and cultural institutions.
There will be a selection of 20 single-channel audiovisual works. During the Festival, the artists will present their works through online talks with the participation of important curators and critics.
The selected works will show during the sixth edition of the International Video Art Festival Over The Real will be in Lucca from 30 April to 8 May 2022.
The works will also be exhibited online on the website www.overthereal.com and on the connected social platforms. In the event of a health emergency situation, due to Covid-19, the Festival could take place entirely online.
To participate in the selection, the organization asks the artists for payment of € 15 (fifteen / Euro) as secretary rights and contribution to the realization of the event.

Beginning our 3rd year, BIFF recognizes that local artists in the Bedford region have wanted a venue to showcase their work for many years. Finally, in 2019, after much collaboration and behind the scenes planning, the first Bedford International Film Festival was presented.
The Bedford Film Festival is a one-day event where attendees will have the opportunity to be the first to view films from around the world alongside films shot in your backyard (sometimes literally).
As we gear up for our inaugural event, taking place in Bedford, Virginia, in July of this year, please do submit your independent or student film projects for consideration at the film festival.
The APOX film festival brings together international independent documentaries from around the world. All entries are promoted through our social media and website with a dedicated page with synopsis, film stills, and trailer.
For this purpose, we recommend that projects must be fully entered, including film stills, production pictures, downloadable posters, and trailers or teasers.
All projects officially selected in each season receive the Independent APOX Awards laurel and certificate.
The 2020 selection included over 200 films, of which 65 films were shown, from over 25 countries around the world. The goal is to promote independent film directors and to stimulate interest in their work. Also, the goal of the festival is to promote young film directors and film works, and accordingly, in 2021 we plan to have a young/student film program during the APOX film festival, which will take into account the works of young directors under 22 and give them the opportunity to realize their dreams through our workshops. and may in the future be part of a new generation to be screened at the festival main program. The orientation is on the promotion of the culture of the island of Losinj, the promotion and the opportunities that the island offers, an oasis of peace for big dreams on the small island of the Adriatic. We are here to enable you to show yourself, to show your films to the world, and to promote you, young and old independent directors, screenwriters, producers. Why sign up and be a part of this story, because nowhere is it like in Losinj. By connecting with other festivals across Europe, we create an interesting cohesion of documentary film and share with each other the works that won awards at the festivals, and thus further promote and move borders, interstate and ensure greater and better representation.2021 concept is to promote young directors movies in the morning show, and top documentary movies in the evening show. We will present movies in a 7 day period, and we hope to have at least 80 movies. 2021 we will have 2 positions, 2 cinemas. And for 2021 we have prepared 4 prices, one for the best movie director of feature documentary movie od 1000,-EUR, best debut movie with the reward price of 700,-EUR, for best young director movie in the program Young director APOX fest will get a scholarship to up 2000,-EUR for a new film project or for schooling, and the best short documentary movie of 500,-EUR.
During the premiere and opening of the festival will be opened in cinema Mali Lošinj, the red carpet for VIP guests of the festival will be planned, and before the first film by the mayor and representatives of the Association will be presented the program of the Festival and all Logged on to the festival itself. All participants, viewers, and representatives will receive a specially designed festival program with a movie schedule and a short description of each film individually. For the purpose of the better presentation of the festival, a final concert will be organized at the end of the festival and the award ceremony on the stage in Veli Lošinj. It is also aimed at giving young directors an option to experience the thrill of making a film through film workshops and that the film's parents, as well as viewers, have the opportunity to see on the big canvas.

The fourteenth edition of the Student Film Festival FENACIES Uruguay opened its inscriptions on April 1st, and will remain open until June 10th. As every year, all the students from all over the world (from Primary to University) can register their short films totally free, which will be displayed in Montevideo from September 9th to 15th.
FENACIES is an organization founded in 2011 that started with the aim of creating a cinema festival specifically to youth, where competition would be fair and creativity and effort of these would be valued.
At first, the festival was avowed of cultural interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture, educational interest by the Primary Education Council, and tourist interest by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. Furthermore, in 2015 UNESCO declared it of educational and cultural interest.
The main aim of the festival is to strengthen the audiovisual education between the youngest, and through the short films realization they can express their ideas so that then they can see reflected on the big screen.
During the week, the short films that are selected will be shown in a public and state cinema. On September 15th will be announced the winners in the closing ceremony.
The Malta Short Film Festival is now in its 14th year, and it is adjudicated by a panel of judges. This enables the filmmaker and the viewer to understand the production value of each entry and its ability to communicate with its audience
The final program consists of an award presentation.

Directed by Women Spain is a film viewing celebration of films directed by women in Spain.
Our celebration is part of the International movement Directed by Women, that for the past 9 years has been dedicated to promote and give visibility to films directed by Women.
Cineteca of Madrid and the CICUS of Seville are hosting the tenth edition with a complete program of short film sessions, feature films, unseen documentaries, sessions for young audiences and children. Filmmakers will be invited to present their pieces to the public and to participate in a Q&A.
There will also be debates, professional gatherings, workshops and a lot of celebration!

The Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival is Pittsburgh's premiere film festival for truly independent films, and a headline event for micro-budget and no-budget films from around the world.
