The 7th Annual Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival promotes the Latino Cultural impact on Cinema in the United States focusing on a unique mix of filmmakers, artists, film lovers and history at the heart of the Hispanic Community at Historic Capitol Hill.
The FICO is the first Film Festival to be held in a community without being a municipal seat and its objective is to highlight the historical, sports and cultural values of our community.
Produced by the Municipality of Colonia Santa Teresa and the narrative journalism platform Angular; declared of Legislative Interest and declared of Cultural Interest by the government of the Province of La Pampa, the IV International Documentary Film Festival "PampaDocFest", will be held in person in the town, from April 10 to 12, 2025. This festival aims to stimulate and facilitate meetings between members of national and international cinematography and to present non-fiction films.
In addition, it seeks to promote the meeting between filmmakers, technicians and those interested in this genre, creating a space for exchange and dialogue. It is proposed to promote a training space to contribute to the development of culture and the dissemination of documentary film, promoting a critical and reflective vision of reality. Likewise, the festival aims to promote local cultural development, providing opportunities for new generations of creators and encouraging the growth of a community committed to art and culture.
The LICHTER Film Festival Frankfurt International is a celebration of and for film. Carried by a high-quality regional as well as international programme, it shines a light on the facets of film art that too often miss out in the everyday of cinema and television.
LICHTER was born from the local film scene. Founded in 2008 by a group of filmmakers and film fans, it has developed from an event for a few from a pledged community in a homemade cinema housed in a studio to an integral part of the (supra-)regional culture. The success proves the creators right. In 2017, LICHTER celebrated its 10th anniversary and proved once more how big the region’s need is to bring them, the audience, the creatives and guests from all over the world together.
The festival programme doesn’t just want to entertain. Every year, the curators make efforts in combining cinema and discourse. In addition to the regional short- and long film competitions, which give a space to the diverse filmmaking of the region, the international programme focuses on a theme that changes yearly. This theme captivates for more reasons than just its topicality, it also points toward socio-political questions to follow and continue debates outside of the film theatre. LICHTER already took on the themes “City”, “Revolution”, “Humour”, “Money”, “Truth”, “Chaos” and “Nature”. This year, the 13th edition of the festival revolves all around “Power”.
At the Intersection of Film and Other Artistic Disciplines
Following this, it seems even more important to search for and support intersections with other cultural institutions and artistic disciplines. The bridge between film, artistic means of expression and social dialogue makes LICHTER unique within German film festivals. Notable partners like the German Film museum or our partner cinema Mal Seh’n are not just venues, institutions such as the Cluster of Excellence Normative Orders of the Goethe University especially add to the content-related design of the extensive accompanying programme: In numerous workshops and discussions, we question the socio-political explosive force of the yearly theme in a number of different ways. Meanwhile, the LICHTER ART AWARD, launched in 2010, focuses closely on the field of video art and its current developments and directions on regional and international levels, while last-but-not-least the VR Storytelling Competition, first launched in 2017, dedicates itself to the varieties of alternative realities.

Introduction
The Association i Ken ONLUS, on the occasion of the 4nd edition of the International Film Festival "OMOVIES @ SCHOOL" announces a competition for audiovisual works on the issues of combating bullying, homophobic bullying, gender violence, gender identity and sexual orientation.
The festival is a project carried out in collaboration with the educational institutions, so it follows the programming and the educational calendar for the school year 2023-24. During this period will be organized activities related to cinema, the festival and the themes it addresses in collaboration with the schools involved. The festival will take place throughout the school year and will end by June 2024 with the viewing of the works in competition, both online and in presence, and the dates will be established in agreement with the school directors.

How we do?
Choose one or more categories and submit your short film.
Usually, our submissions start on 1th-4th of the month and end on the same day next month.
EACH submitted film will receive a short review from our judge team (on request)
PLEASE NOTE: We don't screen the films online! The members of the jury watch the films online and they choose the Official Selections.
In 5-7 days after the deadline day for submissions we publish the Official Selections list and we notify the filmmakers via e-mail.
During the next 5 days our members of the jury decide the winners for each category.
After that we publish the Winners list and we notify filmmakers by e-mail. The lists are published on social media and on our dedicated website: shortshotfest.com
In the last week of the month we screen the awarded films in art - center "Efir" in the heart of Moscow.
From August, 2021 we are OPEN for new season 2021/2022.
The Grand Finale 2021/2022 will be held in August, 2022 in Moscow.

We understand that cinema is one of the most influential artistic disciplines in society, the expression of cinematographic language transcends and surpasses the barriers of the big screen, leaving an indelible mark on the memory and imagination of each spectator. For this reason, the Chiloé International Film Festival FICH 2024 becomes the first audiovisual event that, within the region, exhibits Chilean and international cinema in different time slots, developing programs that include retrospectives of national filmmakers with extensive experience, and activities associated with the mediation of content and cinematographic language to massify the participation of the people who inhabit our Island.
In this 7th version, seven will be the different strips in charge of giving life to the exhibition of films. Five competitive categories: International Feature Film, National Feature Film, International Short Film, National Short Film and Regional Short Film; a Retrospective Focus; and a Children's Strip.
At the end of May 2025, the Florida neighbourhood will host the 7th edition of the FILMSERÈ – International Short Film Festival of La Florida.
This project is conceived by students from the Cinema course at the Eduard Fontserè Institute in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, with guidance from teachers and professionals linked to the film industry, alongside collaboration from local residents, social entities, and associations, among others.
This is an event organised by local people for local people, with everyone from L'Hospitalet, Barcelona, and beyond invited to attend! It is an international festival featuring short films submitted from around the world, supported by the Les Planes-Blocs Florida Integrated Plan from the L'Hospitalet City Council.
Short films of all kinds are selected, with a single criterion: they must be of the highest quality and highly entertaining. Fiction shorts, documentaries, animations, music videos, etc., are all welcome.
Various awards are presented, some of which are monetary.
In addition to a student jury made up of 4th secondary school year (Y11) students organising the festival, we also have an official jury comprising individuals connected to film and the arts, local residents, young people, seniors, and social associations from the neighbourhood.
The festival features outdoor screenings as well as events in indoor spaces across the La Florida area. Attendance in 2021 was 400 spectators over 5 sessions, 2022 saw over 500 attendees across 5 sessions, and in 2023 nearly 1,000 spectators attended across 5 sessions, with more than 1,000 expected in 2024!
This year, we hope to break the record again. We look forward to seeing you all there!

We’re Women Directors Film Carnival, Initiative taken by well experienced and well connected Media Professionals with aim to provide a platform for Women Directors, Producers, Editors, Writers and Cinema Lovers to share their works. We give a space for women in all areas of filmmaking to share their stories, experiences, and expertise. As we strongly believes that Media in our society can be reshaped to have a stronger positive impact on our society, If we educate and empower more Women to work in the medium, take part and active involvement in ownership of the industry, and educate the people on these issues. We at Women Director Film Carnival wants to shine a light on Women being overlooked for jobs with the lack of equal opportunity that is given in the Film and Television industry and create conversations and opportunities for Women to develop an industry that has equal opportunity.

An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Vienna Shorts is the international short film festival in Vienna. The presentation of short films and the exchange about them are the main focus. The festival is organized by the association Independent Cinema and shows about 300 productions under 30 minutes. The competition is structured in four categories, for each of which separate entries can be submitted. Other sections include portraits and thematically curated programs.
Vienna Shorts 2021 will take place as a hybrid festival from May 27 to June 1, 2021. The focus is on the presentation of short film forms in the cinema in Vienna (subject to a non-hazardous implementation). The rights holders will be specially informed about online screenings of films.
