In this Festival are invited to take part to public and private entities that share the same concerns.
The Festival consists of several sections, including a contest of short and documentaries, social issues include: xenophobia, generational conflict, child labor, domestic violence, social roles, ecology, children's rights, coexistence, etc.

The Chicago Caribbean Film Festival is the only Caribbean Film Festival in the Midwest. We work along with the Piton International Film Festival (PIFF) (Saint Lucia); the Houston Caribbean Film Festival (HCFF); and now the Boston Caribbean Film Festival (BCFF). The Chicago Caribbean Film Festival (CCFF) will be held from June 09, 2018 to June 30, 2018 at the Oak Park Public Library (Main Library), 834 Lake Street, Oak Park, Illinois 60301, in the Veteran's Room. The Chicago Caribbean Film Festival (CCFF) will now screen films at North Park University (NPU), 3225 Foster Avenue, Carlson Building #13, Chicago, Illinois 60625. The NPU film festival dates have not been scheduled yet. Moreover, CCFF will be hosting a Caribbean Book Festival to correspond with the film festival.
MoliseCinema intends to promote the latest and most innovative productions of Italian and international cinema, giving priority to young authors and new languages, with particular attention to short films and documentaries.
In thirteen editions held so far, the festival has brought to the public a schedule very articulate hosting hundreds of actors, directors, producers and experts.

With "Filming Molise" the festival will enhance the Molise as a location for productions cinematographic and audiovisual.

The International Boat of Culture Festival presents its Short Film Fest, with the aim of raising awareness of the different aspects of diversity.
With the motto “Sail. Explore. Create – The taste of Diversity”, our festival focal point is to gather voices from all over the world talking about multiculturalism through short films.
What is the taste of Diversity?
Does it taste sweet? bitter? or is it a taste that changes throughout the time, context, and other elements?
The concept of diversity of our festival is wide and includes all forms of life and expression.
We accept all themes and genres, taking into account the limitation of lenght per short.

The second Festival Internacional de Curtmetratges de la Bisbal d’Empordà will take place on August 3 – 5, 2017 at Torre Maria gardens.
After almost 2.500 submissions from more than 100 countries and about 600 total viewers in the last edition, FIC.BiE will continue on working to keep film activities in la Bisbal d’Empordà.
This year will consist in two different sections: one will be the international section and the second one will be the one with specific production from Girona “GiCurts”.
Short films selected on both sections will also participate in a poster design contest. The exhibition will be available weeks before the event will take place and will be placed in an indoor location of la Bisbal (to be determined).
On 2016 we also organised some workshops for high schools of the village and we collaborated with the women’s collective, organising a micro short film contest against gender violence.
CineEast – Short Film Festival Berlin is a platform for filmmakers from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. From the 29th – 30th July 2016, we will dive into their world presenting short films that will make us ponder, laugh and discover. Be it fiction or experimental, the festival will showcase films from regions currently garnering most attention for migration. It is our mission to give voice to the particular and provide our audience with intriguing, diverse and creative films.

About the Festival
The Bridge Film Fest is an international competitive cultural event that serves to inspire and connect filmmakers and audiences throughout the region and beyond. Filmmakers participating in the Festival attend screenings of their films at the main 400-seat auditorium and other special events designed to allow interaction between filmmakers and audiences.

THE FESTIVAL .
Universo Corto is an international short film festival that began in Pisa in 2004 and will have its XV edition in 2022.
It is an independent review of free theme short films organized by the cultural association Giovani Persone.
The Festival is directed primarily to university, post-graduate and cinema accademies students, but it's also open to indipendent cinema's directors. Since the first edition, the presidency of the event has been permanently held by the director Roberto Faenza.

La Otra Banqueta accepts films of all nationalities about lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex, transgender and any open understand sexuality in all its forms as an inherent part of the human person.
The Oiasso Roman Museum and the City Council of Irun organize the International Archaeological Film Festival of the Bidasoa.
The aim of the Festival is to present archaeology to the general public, through the diffusion of audio-visual material resulted from the work made by archaeologists, assuring the promotion and the spreading of these films.
The Festival is being celebrated since the year 2001 and from the year 2004 it has four prizes: the Grand Prize of the Festival, the Special Audience Prize, the Educational Values Prize and Arkeolan Prize for Contribution to Science.
