The festival will take place in Sweden's third largest city, Malmö, during the weekend of september 11-13 with a opening evening friday september 11.
IN.S.A.N.E animation film festival will screen animation features, shorts and stop-motion films, for the public. Industry conferences, panels, workshops on the state of the art(s) and educational platforms for children will also be held.
IN.S.A.N.E. animation film festival is a private initiative to make a platform for animation artists to show their work, meet like-minded people, grow the interest for animation and stop-motion films and to start a discussion about issues in society globally.
This is the first time ever for the festival to take place and we look forward to having your animation or stop-motion film and you as a visitor and special guest at the festival.

Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.
Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !

‘Mal del Cap, Naratives Mal Dites" is the name of the International Festival of Short Films and New Narratives that Mal del Cap, Cultura Mal Dita of Eivissa has been running since 2014.
This festival aims to be a meeting place and a place to generate ties between the participants and the citizens of Eivissa with the aim of consolidating itself as a space with the potential to forge encounters for audiovisual exhibition and creation.
‘Mal del Cap’ is an independent festival based on experimentation and the search to find new ways of narrating or expressing through the image, and to this end we are organising a short film competition to encourage the participation of citizens, especially the youngest members of the population.
The 11th Short 8 - Curitiba International Super8 Film Festival is a Latin American festival exclusively dedicated to super8.
One of the main events dedicated to the promotion of contemporary production of Ibero-American animation cinema reaches its 18th edition punctuated with attractions, in addition to the already traditional parade of the main animated productions in Portuguese and Spanish.

¡Viva Cinema! joins with the community and businesses of New Haven CT April 12, 13 & 14, 2018 to build cultural bridges and raise awareness of Latin American cinema and the art of visual story telling in the languages of Spanish and Portuguese.
The forth Annual ¡Viva Cinema! Latino Film Festival is an international exchange of film, music, arts, culture and food at Gateway Community College. The annual festival will showcase more than 100 films with a student short film PSA competition. Screenings and events will take place throughout the theater in this jam-packed fast paced three days of film, Latino cultural and educational event. Filmmakers will compete for awards in several categories including Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary and Best Short Film.

Expotoons seeks to promote Animation as a growth channel for the Audiovisual Industry, enabling the interchange of artistic trends, knowledge and experiences amongst participating countries.
The FENAVID International Film Festival is held annually in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Organized by the Audiovisual Foundation (FUNDAV), the Festival has become the most important film event in Bolivia and one of the most relevant in Latin America.
Since its first version, carried out in 2001, more than 10,000 audiovisual works from 30 countries have been presented at this meeting, which has transcended the borders of Bolivia and America.
In each version, FENAVID offers the public more than 150 screenings of feature films, short films, music videos and a series of audiovisual works that are exhibited free of charge for the public.
FENAVID always has first-rate guests. The event was attended by internationally renowned figures such as Celso Franco, protagonist of "7 boxes", Marisol Correa, Colombian actress, Alexandre Rodrigues and Leandro Firmino de Hora (protagonists of the acclaimed Brazilian film "Ciudad de Dios"), the Argentine producer Vanessa Ragone (winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2010), Bolivian directors Marcos Loayza and Rodrigo Bellot and Argentine actress Aymará Rovera, to name a few.
Beyond glamor and film screenings, FENAVID is a macro meeting where producers, directors, actors, specialists and a whole multitude of people passionate about cinema converge.
During the days of its realization, the Festival has a series of parallel activities, such as children's film shows, video clip competition, workshops, talks, colloquia and debates.
One of the most anticipated events of FENAVID is the Santa Cruz 100X100 Film Production Meeting. It consists of bringing together 25 emerging film talents in Latin America. The chosen ones travel to Santa Cruz de la Sierra and, during the development of the festival, have the mission of producing a short film in 100 hours.
TRIFI Film Festival's goals are to:
- To promote and encourage future artists and artisans in the arts, media, and technology of film making.
- To further public awareness and appreciation of motion pictures as an art form, and
- To support the education of the general public in these areas by hosting annual film exhibitions, lectures, seminars, workshops, and other activities.
TRIFI's motto is “To spotlight independent films with limited budgets using unlimited imagination!”

The SITGES - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia is a specialized, competitive fantastic genre Festival in accordance with the regulations established by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations). The Festival has also been declared a “Qualified Festival” by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® in the United States. Based in the Georgian midlands town of Birr, OFFline Film Festival is an exciting event for film lovers and makers alike. With Irish and international films being screened in a quirky array of venues around the town, all preceded by short films, audiences are spoiled for choice.
The festival also includes workshops on all aspects of film-making given by industry professionals. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of OFFline is the short film-making competition.
Teams of film-makers make and edit a short film in Birr in a matter of days, often enlisting the help of locals in front of and behind the cameras.
