TRÂNSITO is an LGBT+ film showcase based in Pelotas, Brazil.
The name Transito refers to the right of bodies to move, exist, and occupy spaces. The festival celebrates LGBTQ+ stories and filmmakers committed to creating works around these themes.
The showcase is divided into three sections — International, National (Brazilian), and Regional (Rio Grande do Sul) — in order to embrace both local and global perspectives in cinema.
Through film screenings, talks, debates, and cultural activities, TRÂNSITO promotes inclusion, respect, diversity, and human rights, strengthening the local community and contributing to a more just, equal, and welcoming society.
Animation Expo (AXPO) is the largest annual event organized by the Animation Student Association of STMM Yogyakarta. This year, we are once again opening the opportunity for creators to showcase their best work to the art community. Which will be appreciated as part of the AXPO 2026 series of events. With the theme "chase your dream live the passion" we hope that artist can share their thoughts and ideas, or to express themselves and inspire other. Haunted Carnival is a space for fantastic, horror, and uncanny cinema. We welcome productions from different genres that explore fear, the supernatural, the dark, the mysterious, and the unsettling in all their forms, from psychological horror to experimental works.
At Haunted Carnival, we seek to bring together filmmakers, the public, and members of the film industry in one space. More than a film festival, we are a gathering that fosters creation, reflection, and the sharing of stories that go beyond the everyday and dare to face the unknown.

mujerDOC – 10th International Feminist Documentary Film Festival, organized by the NGO Mujeres del Mundo (Women of the World) and the Soria City Council, is a documentary screening platform created to help eliminate gender stereotypes and highlight the role of women in the development of the territories, communities, societies, and countries where they have lived or currently live.
Submitted works must address themes related to the fight for equality and the feminist agenda. Films must be documentaries produced on or after January 1, 2024. There are no minimum or maximum runtime limits. Films must be subtitled in Spanish and/or English. Clean copies (without burned-in subtitles) and two SRT subtitle files (one in Spanish, one in English) must be submitted.
The festival is hopefully scheduled to take place in March 2027 in Soria (Spain).
A festival committee will select the films to be included in a single Official Section, competing for the following awards:
- "Woman" Award: €3,000 (eligible to films directed by women)
- Feature Film Award: €2,000 (60 minutes or longer)
- Short Film Award: €1,000 (up to 59 minutes)
Additional awards may be established in collaboration with other entities.
* Each selected film will receive €150 for its total exhibition at the Festival, covering a maximum of 4 screenings; the specific screening schedule will be communicated to each film in advance.
The 3 Margens Latin American Film Festival is a film screening and training event that has been taking place since 2017 in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, in the state of Paraná.
Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it extends its activities to two neighboring countries, Puerto Iguazú and Ciudad del Este, Argentina and Paraguay, respectively.
The Festival promotes competitive screenings of short films and also screens invited feature films. All screenings focus on Latin American and Caribbean productions.
The event also features a Screenwriting Lab and the 3 Fronteiras Market meeting, focused on the audiovisual industry of the Triple Frontier.
The festival "Rencontres du cinéma latino américain" organized by France Amérique Latine Comité Bordeaux Gironde is 44 years old.
The missions developed since the creation of this event are:
- To make the Latin American continent known: its cultures, its struggles, its peculiarities...
- To increase the visibility of little-known works.
- To share the political and artistic visions of Latin American countries.
The feature film program is divided into two categories: films in competition and those not participating in the competition. Depending on the year, the film committee reserves the right to add a category to the selection.
The film committee will decide the dates and times of the screenings of each film.

RDIFF is a Jabalpur, Mumbai, India based international film festival with screenings and Q&A and a twice-yearly awards event. One event is totally dedicated to Short Films and other event is for Full Length Films.
There will be two events every year.
Our First Edition SUCCESSFULLY launched on 5th October 2023 for Short Films.
Our June edition for Full Length Films was a success at Amravati, Maharashtra.
The 3rd Edition for short films category was completed on 5 Oct 2024. Honorable MLA Shri Abhilash Pandey distributed the Awards. Edition 04 was filled with amazing films.
Edition 05 is the start of expanding towards Veeraangna Mahotsav.
Edition 06 was held on 24 June 2026, prominent story tellers shared their researched work on Rani Durgavati, young kids presented dance act with the scoial message on Road Safety. Teenagers presented their speech on Viksit Bharat@2047. There was a good discussion on screened films.

FeCHA is Festival de Cine Hispanófono de Atenas and was first organized in 2016 with great success.
The festival focuses on screening current Spanish- speaking films from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Colombia, etc. showcasing the rich cinematic wealth of these countries.
The festival, since June 2016, has attracted more than 20.000 audience members. Multi-awarded films from Spain and Latin America premiere at the festival. With its sold- out screenings and a diverse programme Athens has shown its love for Spanish speaking culture and cinema.
The festival also features:
-cortoFeCHA, a screening of a collection of Spanish speaking short films from Spain and Latin America, which are screened with free entry to the public.

Our call for entries is open to individuals, collectives, agencies, showcases, or production companies holding the rights to short-form audiovisual works—including documentaries, fiction, experimental films, music videos, and video art—produced in film, video, or animation formats.
For its inaugural 2026 edition, FICAE will take place in Aguachica, a municipality in the southern part of the Cesar department, Colombia.

A curatorial committee will select the works to be screened. From this selection, some will compete in the following categories:
Best Local Short Film: For works produced in Aguachica, Cesar, and the surrounding region (such as Southern Bolívar and Southern Cesar) by filmmakers born in or residing in that area.
Best National Short Film: For works produced by Colombians anywhere in the country.
Best International Short Film (certificate awarded)
Nominated works will compete for the “Pájaro Chau Chau” statuette.
The 21. River Film Festival is an international film festival that will take place in Padua, Italy, from 2 to 19 June 2027.
The Festival is organized by the Cultural Association Researching Movies and is supported by the Padua City Council, the Veneto Region, and the Italian Ministry of Culture.
Padua has recently been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List thanks to Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel and the city’s 14th-century fresco cycles, making it a truly special art city that attracts tourists and creative minds from all over the world.

The selected films will once again be screened on a floating screen placed in the middle of the 16th-century fluvial port at Porta Portello, the historic city gate once used for trade between Padua and Venice. 1. Brain Film Fest
The Brain Film Fest (BFF) is an international film festival dedicated to highlighting and promoting the creation and dissemination of feature films and short films about any aspect of the brain, from its amazing abilities and conditions to its pathologies. The BFF is jointly organized by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and Minimal Films. In addition to being a film competition, the BFF will also organize throughout the festival other in-person and online social, cultural and/or scientific events that focus on the brain.
The 9th edition of the Brain Film Fest will be held from March 9 to 14, 2027.
Bajo Nuestra Piel International Film Festival on Human Rights is a non-profit organization that aims to generate a debate and reflective space on Human Rights topics through the artistic representation in documental, fiction and animation format, of critical, socially compromised and quality cinema.
The first Zacatlán International Film Festival, in one of Mexico's most beautiful magical towns, invites all filmmakers interested in sharing their creations with us—and, why not, stay and film? With the aim to encourage the creation of meeting spaces for the world of medium-length films, as well as fostering interest in cinematographic creation, the Manzanares El Real City Council's Department of Culture organizes the fifth edition of the International Festival of Medium-Length Films of Manzanares El Real called FIMMER.
All those films with a duration between 30 and 60 minutes produced after January 1, 2025 may be submitted to the contest. And each author or producer may submit up to a maximum of two works.

Queer Movie Nights is a showcase of LGBTQI+ films which takes place in Athens, Greece. The first festival took place in May 2022 and centres around the International Day Against Homophobia. Feature films, documentaries and short films are screened at the festival. The festival is organised by Antivirus LGBTQI+ Free Press Magazine.
The Curtas Noia Industry Lab is organising the 1st Short Film Screenplay Competition with the aim of encouraging the creation of new cinematic works, fostering emerging talent and promoting stories capable of connecting local identity with global audiences.
The competition has been established as a tool for discovering and supporting new filmmakers, encouraging the development of screenplays with cinematic potential and the prospect of success at national and international film festivals.

This initiative has been created as a platform to encourage the creation of new cinematic works, promote emerging talent and generate real opportunities for the development, production and distribution of short films.
Furthermore, the competition aims to position Noia and Galicia as centres of audiovisual creation, supporting projects that can be developed partly or entirely within the autonomous community and that help to highlight its cultural, natural and identity-related heritage.
