Das Transhumant Festival ist eine engagierte Kinoveranstaltung zur sozialen Transformation.
Es zielt darauf ab, Zuschauer zu erreichen, die sowohl geografisch als auch aufgrund sozialer Umstände weit von der Kultur entfernt sind, um sie zu Teilnehmern zu machen und Themen zu zeigen, die die Gesellschaft betreffen und die in Kinos, Medien oder üblichen audiovisuellen Vertriebskanälen nicht ausreichend verbreitet werden.
Es werden nationale und internationale Kinofilme und Reportagen aus dem Fotojournalismus vorgestellt, die sich auf folgende Themen konzentrieren:
- Soziale, politische, ökologische, bergwissenschaftliche, journalistische oder historische Forschung.
- Zeigt irgendeine Form von Aktivismus zugunsten der Menschenrechte und des Respekts vor der Umwelt.
- Wertschätzung positiver zwischenmenschlicher Beziehungen und kultureller Vielfalt.
- Wertschätzung der Chancengleichheit zwischen Frauen und Männern.
Organised by Donostia Kultura, the San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival took its first steps in 1990. Ever since its beginnings, the Festival has endeavoured to fashion a programme offering something for every kind of spectator. Horror movies, sci-fi, animation, shorts, classics from all over the world… have alternated the length and breadth of its history with shows, exhibitions, concerts and various other activities in the attempt to create a varied competition in which everyone can find something they like.
The International Film Fair of Manizales FICMA will perform its eighth version from August 23 to 27, 2017 in the city of Manizales - Colombia. The selection is open theme so that it is invited to directors and producers who wish to participate with their feature films. The best film for the public will be awarded.

Sofia Independent FIlm Festival (So Independent) is the first and most exciting American independent film festival in South East Europe. The Festival’s goal is to present films that don't usually reach the screens in Bulgaria and surrounding regions, and to show a side of American cinema that the audience cannot find in mainstream production. In it's 8th edition, the festival invites new works from american and international independent filmmakers.
