About WDIFF – The Annual Women's Director International Film Festival (WDIFF) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to women's. This three-day extravaganza, consisting of indoor and outdoor red carpet film screenings, fashion shows, workshops, and of course Shopping Stalls. It's a celebration of women and all who love women. WDIFF films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of film. In addition to exhibiting the next new wave of women filmmakers, the WDIFF also makes time to pay tribute to films by women with historical significance.
In past years festival gains reputation & regarded as among most prestigious festival in India. The festival grows over the years & attracts filmmakers from across the India & across the world.
Mission & Objective - The mission of the Women's Director International Film Festival (WDIFF) is to empower women's artistic vision internationally. With women representing only 7% of filmmakers, we would like to increase the number of women in the industry and support those women who are actively involved by assisting filmmakers and artists with the development of their craft.
The 2016 edition will offer many different sections, including a feature‐film competition, a retrospective exhibition, many premieres and tributes to great directors of the past, a documentary section, recently produced films and rediscovered classics, art exhibitions and installations, special screening sessions for schools, animation films, workshops, lectures, Q&As with the authors... and much more.
Among the most eagerly awaited cultural events in Bergamo, BFM is a major event in the Italian Festival calendar and a great opportunity not only to meet film professionals, but also for research and study, as well as for genuine, passion‐driven fun.
12 Festival Audiovisual Infantil (FICAIJ), 2021/2022
Venezuela-Colombia
El Festival Audiovisual Infantil, conocido por sus siglas como FICAIJ, nace en Mérida, Venezuela, en 2010, y se consolida tras 12 años como una de las más importantes ventanas de exhibición de contenidos de calidad tanto educativos y alternativos como comerciales para niños, niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes y familias en el país y la región.
Tras haber atendido de forma directa a más de 41.385 mil participantes en sus 11 ediciones anteriores en 6 países del mundo. Frente al panorama de pandemia que vivimos por el COVID-19, asumimos el reto de transformarnos y activar nuestra edición número 12 en la web con incidencia principal en los países de la región. Adicionalmente, planeamos tener algunas proyecciones presenciales en Venezuela y Colombia.
Historia:
Más de 1.506 obras audiovisuales entre cortos y largos provenientes de 81 países del mundo fueron transmitidas a través de las pantallas del FICAIJ, y más de 392 personas entre niños, niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos cumplieron la labor de evaluar y ser jurados de esas obras.
Nuestros jurados no solo provenían de Venezuela y de Colombia sino de otros 9 países: Argentina, Brasil, Cuba, Ecuador, España, Italia, Kenia, México y Sudáfrica, participando en representación de sus lugares de procedencia.
Filosofía:
Promovemos el audiovisual desde una mirada reflexiva y productiva, invitando a niños, niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes a asumir un rol activo como creadores y prosumidores.
Misión:
El FICAIJ busca alentar la creación, producción, exhibición y distribución de contenidos de calidad para y por niños, niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes de la región, estimulando el protagonismo de los chicos en todos estos procesos.
2do. Laboratorio FICAIJ:
Con el doble propósito de fortalecer, por un lado, la producción de contenidos infantiles, juveniles y familiares a nivel regional, y por el otro la formación de docentes en la educación con y para los medios, necesidad más evidente ante la educación digital impuesta por la pandemia, la organización del FICAIJ asume el reto de desarrollar la 2da. edición de su Laboratorio FICAIJ, un espacio de formación dirigido al sector de producción de contenidos para chicos y chicas latinoamerican@s y al sector de la educación.

El Festival Internacional BioBioCine es un encuentro intercultural de conocimientos y saberes expresados desde el cine. Su objetivo es convertirse en un espacio de diálogo y reflexión, además de difundir, promover, apoyar y valorar la cinematografía nacional e internacional desde una perspectiva territorial e identitaria, en el marco de su reunión anual.
El Festival Internacional BioBioCine invita a participar con obras provenientes de todos los países y culturas en su undécima edición. Su programación incluye categorías competitivas y no competitivas, de largometrajes y cortometrajes, tanto de ficción como de no ficción, con énfasis en el cine de autor, nuevos realizadores, experimentación, diálogo intercultural y las primeras naciones.

Reaching its second edition in 2015, after a one-year hiatus, the "International Exhibition of the Amazon" MIA FILM FESTIVAL comes to once again exalt the world cinema in the heart of the forest.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Skepto tiene un carácter competitivo y está abierto a cortometrajes sin límites en cuanto a su tema, estilo o presupuesto de producción. Está abierto a cortometrajes de todo tipo, incluyendo documentales, videoclips musicales, videoarte, cortometrajes experimentales, spots, tráilers falsos, nuevos formatos multimedia, vídeos móviles, etc.
El festival tendrá lugar en Cagliari en abril de 2022, con proyecciones colaterales en las mismas fechas o durante los meses siguientes (antes de finales de 2022 — tenemos previsto organizar al menos dos eventos en otros lugares de Cerdeña y dos en otras ciudades italianas o internacionales). Bombay, la ciudad de los sueños del celuloide desde el siglo pasado, es el destino de miles de cineastas en ciernes y profesionales en la India y el mundo. La ciudad ha formado a muchos grandes cineastas y técnicos y ha entretenido a millones de personas de todo el mundo a través del cine. La gente también la llamaba cariñosamente Bollywood. En la era altamente competitiva del cine, el «Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Bombay» es la plataforma para que los cortometrajistas den a conocer su trabajo en la liga de los profesionales.
El MSIFF, un movimiento cinematográfico progresista, comenzó en 2012 con la consulta de importantes miembros de la industria para dar a conocer el cortometraje. El año inaugural de 2012, seguido de las ediciones de 2013 a 2025, fue testigo de la gran participación y entusiasmo de cineastas y profesionales de la industria de la India y del extranjero. El objetivo del festival es contribuir al desarrollo de los futuros cineastas y a crear una cultura de cortometrajes en la India.
El objetivo del festival es presentar a lo grande el mejor cine de cineastas de todo el mundo y, al mismo tiempo, proporcionar redes profesionales y presentar las tendencias actuales del cine a los participantes. El festival también aboga firmemente por la necesidad de una industria de cortometrajes comerciales en la India y planteará las cuestiones relacionadas con los cortometrajes ante varios órganos de gobierno del cine.

The Festival International du Film d’Aubagne, organized by the ALCIME association, is dedicated to the promotion of young cinematographic creation and music composition for film.
Its main axes are to favor the emergence of young international talents, to be a place of training and creation for young authors such as directors, scriptwriters and composers. Highlighting cultural diversity is our axiom.
The FIFA naturally became a place of showing where the curiosity of the public is awakened, seduced by the cinematographic variety and encounters with guests of honor.
It also offers a platform for artists from image and sound, a place of sensitization and training, enabling reinforced cooperation.

Dear Filmmakers,
The College Town Film Festival is thrilled to be entering it's fifth year. Along the journey, we have met talented filmmakers and artists; we have been hosted by engaged, intellectually curious students; and we have been welcomed (and challenged) by world-class faculty members who have come to define our festival.
When we first began to formulate the idea for The College Town Film Festival, we knew it had to be a traveling event. We wanted to capture the energy of a place that thrives on youth and deals in the currency of developing minds. Plus, a roadshow would allow us spread the word while gauging the pulse of the college audience. Since those early conversations, The CTFF has grown rapidly over 4 fast-moving years. We have screened Independent films (with accompanying TedTalk-like presentations and panels discussions) for large crowds on major college campuses, enabling students to discover a world of ideas and a sense of passion for issues that matter; often encountering a filmic view of our complex world that isn’t available at the local multiplex.
At the same time, the University Professors we work with are thrilled to welcome the professional Actors, Directors, Editors, Writers, Casting Directors, Crew Members and industry professionals that we invite to campus to discuss the inner-workings of film and professional production. The big surprise however, is that College Deans and Administrators enthusiastically support the festival because they’ve discovered that The CTFF fills a vital need: bringing the University together across disciplines. Which, as one administrator revealed is “normally the provence of sports and keggers… not art and ideas”.
From the beginning, we knew that colleges of communication, theatre and business/marketing would be natural partners. But every year, we discover that new faculty provosts and new deans are reaching out to us. Four short years into the experiment, The CTFF now receives unexpected and enthusiastic support across campus: with strong participation from the colleges of education, psychology, life-sciences, philosophy, engineering, theology and even medicine and computers. Our new challenge is to keep pace with this growing interest… and channel the enthusiasm into a more sophisticated and technologically-advanced platform.
When I meet with professors and deans I explain that we began with (and stay true to) two simple goals. 1) Support Independent filmmakers. 2) Introduce students to unique voices and fresh ideas “without making them feel like they are eating vegetables.” Of course, making these two ideas work together and balancing them, can be a bit of a challenge… but that tug-of-war is what led to a moment of clarity and our third goal, which is what really gives life to the College Town Film Festival. And it is the thing that excites the University faculty heads.
Each year, and with each stop on the tour, the energy and excitement around this event grows. The 2015 Penn State festival was by far our most ambitious and the most successful. Now we are being contacted by new Universities who are interested in bringing CTFF to their campus, and we are looking for filmmakers with something to say to help us grow this festival to reach more students.
The best screenings are attended by the filmmakers. That’s why we help with travel. Sometimes it’s airline tickets, usually it’s a hotel room for a few nights… often it’s both. But always the reason is the same: we want to hear your voice; learn about the backstory and listen to your plans for the future… and always, argue the merits of your film.
But beware: the conversations are real. Sometimes we agree; more often we argue — never do we pull-any-punches. That is the deal we have for you: we won’t pretend to be “the next Sundance” (blah, blah, blah) and you won’t have to worry that we’ll subject you to an audience programmed to agree with you just because you’re in the room.
We’re not interested in how your film was financed or how much it cost or why you cast the girl with the lisp. We just want to know one thing: of all the movies you could have made, why did you make this one?
So submit your film. Know that it will be reviewed by thoughtful judges. That it will be given careful consideration. And when it is accepted… we don’t just want a copy of the DVD… we want you.
