The main goal of the Halo Festival is to create a space for introductions and future collaborations.
We want viewers and filmmakers to meet in person, so every season we hold Q&A sessions with the authors of the films. And after the screenings, we organize after-parties, where you can socialize and make new connections in an informal atmosphere.

The 17th Film Festival: Childhood and Adolescence – 2026 is a celebration featuring spaces for audiovisual exchange and education for children, adolescents, and young adults, with screenings, recreational activities, workshops, panels, and discussions. Its primary objective is to promote Bogotá as a pioneering city in Latin America in terms of ensuring that children and adolescents are visible, play a leading role, and enjoy full rights through audiovisual production. Shorts In Season Film Festival is a bi-annual celebration of bold, brilliant short indie films under 20 minutes, made in Europe or by European filmmakers. The festival exists because we believe short indie films deserve a proper spotlight, a big screen, and a real audience. Run biannually, not just once a year, Shorts In Season gives filmmakers double the chance to share their work and get involved.
Based in Berlin — one of Europe’s most vital creative capitals — we aim for our events to be a place where filmmakers meet, talk, and connect, and where stories come alive before a crowd that truly cares.
Filmmakers with selected films are encouraged to attend and take part in the Q&A discussion on the night after their film has been screened. Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities to network with other filmmakers and attendees.
Shorts In Season's upcoming Summer Edition 2026 will be held at the intimate and beloved IL KINO, a former bakery turned film institution, located within East Berlin’s popular Neukölln district. Like our festival, IL KINO celebrates independent films and showcases international voices and is driven by an independent spirit.
Our team previously ran the Made In Melbourne Film Festival (2009–2016). As indie filmmakers ourselves, we’re here to support fellow indie voices, build a network, and bring people together around the thing we all love most: powerful, personal, unforgettable short films and storytelling.

BLUE MULTIMEDIA Y ENTRETENIMIENTO INVITES
filmmakers, videographers, and other audiovisual creators to participate with their sports-themed materials or works in the first edition of Energía: Cine Deportivo Internacional. It will take place from June 11 to 15, 2026, in different venues in Mexico City.
The materials must be exclusively sports-themed.
Works in the categories of documentary, fiction, and animation in short and feature film formats, with no duration restrictions, produced from 2020 to date, are eligible to participate.

PRESENTATION
Festival de Cine no Visto has the main objective of giving visibility to those independent and low or no budget productions which, for different reasons, don’t reach the major public and whose only option for a greater recognition is found in festivals.
The organization of the Festival de Cine no Visto is aware of the great effort that producers have to endure in order to carry out a project with very limited means. Technical aspects are for us just another element in the process, so the main reasons to be selected will not depend on the means used. We are much more interested in what is told and the symbolism in each shot.
We are undoubtedly going to consider all and each of the aspects: performance, editing, cinematography, music, screenplay, to sum up, everything necessary in the production of an audiovisual project.
